In my "opinion".... RJ is just a phoney leeching off Robin's name. The opinion of a lot of people. Without talent. Without Robin's humility and philanthropic endeavours. It was amazingly tacky that he left a card with his web site on Robin's grave. Suddenly he's "Robin Jr", not "Robin John". He needs to take a DNA test and perhaps compare it to Snow's before I believe anything he says or promotes. He said Robin had a pilot's license. Nope. He looks nothing like Robin. Melissa, Spencer and Snow all do. The Bee Gees cannot be replicated by anybody. Any attempts are simply cover bands. Now I can sit back and anticipate the hate. 😜
I didn't know he did that (left a card on Robin's grave) but I'd have to agree that is tacky. I think RJ should try to do his own music and not his Dad's. Nobody can do the Bee Gees but them! I know Robin loves him, and I love Robin but it does seem like he's trying to ride his Dad's coattails. Spencer does his own music and it's wonderful and I have a lot of respect for Spencer doing that. It's awful bc I actually feel bad like I'm dogging RJ and I'm not trying to be disrespectful but seriously RJ you aren't your Dad ok. It makes me wonder if the rest of the family feels that way since I didn't see Barry or any of his cousins or Spencer or Melissa there. Js . I think the public is being kind to RJ bc of their love and respect for Robin. Rip Robin and Maurice... I had my husband watch this bc he took is a huge Bee Gees fan and I wanted his opinion and he said the same thing pretty much. He said "just bc your father is Muhammad Ali it doesn't mean you can fight". We both are huge Robin Gibb fans and no disrespect to him but RJ is no Robin or Bee Gee for that matter. You don't see Barry or Maurice's sons out trying to sing their songs and neither should he...
@@JulieHannah-lg7fy - I find it VERY interesting that RJ has always so vehemently denied that Robin had a child with Clare. He seemed livid about it! It was a fact and his claims will never change that. Robin acknowledged Snow as his. She looks just like him even though being half Asian. Meanwhile RJ looks NOTHING like him. Dwina was angry. She had an "open" marriage but another child would be perceived as a threat to her son's status. She and RJ also were probably afraid that Snow might get more of Robin's estate. It would be interesting if RJ would demand a DNA test on Snow to prove his claims. If she did take one, RJ should have to take a DNA test as well and that might be a big surprise!!! If he is not biologically Robin's son and Robin knew that, I credit him for being a wonderful father to him. Maybe Robin was naive and actually believed it or just decided to be his father figure. Meanwhile, Snow has been deserted by the family and she deserves to know her uncle and cousins. It is not her fault that she was conceived out of marriage. I am aware that many people do not believe RJ is his son but short of DNA there is no valid proof for that belief. Meanwhile, his behaviour leeching off Robin's name is pathetic if he actually is his son. It is disgraceful if he is not. Robin was such a kind and generous person who did so many good things for many causes. All RJ has done is sing badly, make babies and use Robin's money and legacy.
I find this self-promoter difficult to tolerate. Nobody expects him to be another Robin Gibb. Robin Gibb was a natural. RJ's musical skills are trained. I would argue that he is cheered on by his business-minded mother
