I bought the Tilton Ultimate HD System - Gen2 Tilton HD CMC Kit, Rev3.3 AFP Clutch Pedal System + HD Clevis. I wanted to just install the pedal and do the CMC when I did my clutch. Come to find out that this specific kit has to be installed together.
The general process of removing the stock unit and installing the pedal is the same, so I hope this will help and be used as a reference.

I did the same exact thing you did😭 I had everything installed when I finally got to the end of the video. I ended up making my own washers out of some trim clips I had laying around and she started right up I'm about to go for a test drive

Hey Project Panda again. I watched your video and I realized I might have the RJM clutch pedal came with my g37. I bought it used from dealership, they really don't know much about it. It didn't have the bulky spring like OEM set up does @1:31. It looked exactly like your RJM. My clutch pedal was squeaky recently, so I spray some silicone base spray and the noise is gone. Do you know how can I tell if it is exactly RJM? apart from the spring. Thank you.

Hey Duy, you are welcome to call me Dave. The beauty about the RJM pedal is the adjustability on it. From what I remember, there’s 3 revisions, and all revision should have the spring style on the rod. @@ProjectPanda13 Thanks Dave. My spring was on the left side like yours, so I assumed it was made and installed couple years back. It was a nice surprise though. Definitely an improvement since I had a stock g35s versus this RJM, launch was smoother, and 1st - 2nd as well. Sadly, one of the speaker was blown, it also has an aftermark sub and amp. But I am scared to touch an electrical parts. Do you have any suggestion videos like work on those stuffs. Thanks Dave.

@@DuyNguyen-qv3pi , I don’t have any recommendations for electrical work. Generally, if you unplug the battery, it makes it safer and less likely to short anything out

Instructions said the pedal only works with the tilton cmc?

Thanks for checking out my video. RJM sells just the pedal or as a whole kit with the Tilton master cylinder. I got the kit, and the pedal is design to only work with the Tilton unit. The pedal only works with oem style master cylinder.

@@ProjectPanda13 thats weird. I bought mine back in 2017 and I'm able to use both oem and tilton CMC. Could it be the clevis?

@@itsmistersmoke , yea, the Clovis was different on the rev3.3. I was thinking I could use the stock CMC but as soon as I tried, it was different enough, I had to put the stock back on

@@ProjectPanda13 ah yes. The Tilton one uses imperial thread size. The OEM uses metric thread size. I fortunately have both.

Silly question, Do you still have the auto rev match after install this clutch pedal?

You good on the good, no worries, and my car didn’t come with the rev-match feature. That was only on 370z. The pedal doesn’t affect it and you can still have it if you have the feature.

Wait so If you wanna change to a rjm pedal you need the slave cylinder too?

Thanks for the support. I got a different kit from them. I got their complete Tilton kit. You can just buy the RJM pedal separately. I wanted to replace my master cylinder because of age since I’m replacing my slave and going with ZSpeed CMAK relocation kit

@@MarcosGarcia-xg1rf , I e got the setup installed and running well overall. I still need to make some adjustments to get the FP better. Have this with the ZSpeed CMAK kit

Kyle Leibow , thanks for viewing the video. I looked it up and both seem to be clutch position sensors.

The top one is the Cruise control cancel switch (shuts cruise control off if you press the clutch). The bottom one is the clutch interlock sensor, which tells the car that the clutch is fully depressed so you can start the car.

would you recommend if i have a heavy clutch? i got a regular z1 clutch and pressure plate and it’s still pretty stiff so i was looking into this pedal. how much does it cut down on pedal pressure? how responsive is it?

Thanks for stopping in to watch the video. The clutch pedal getting stiffer/softer is a side effect of widening or shortening the engagement window. Not the actual purpose of the Mod. These two things however are inevitably linked to pedal leverage. Lowering the engagement may help make your clutch more tolerable to drive. I just ordered a Z Speed stage 2 clutch myself.
