I was so looking forward to watching your reaction. I feel such similar emotions, right alongside you. This song hurt in a lot of ways for me. I struggled with this idea that this individual who has brought me so much comfort, purpose, and direction, has been feeling this burden, "shackles", as a result of my admiration. I would never want to be a cause of pain or overwhelm for any of them. So I felt guilty, honestly. But the imagery of a flowerwork was beautiful, nonetheless. I just want to hug this man so badly. Ugh. And I would also love to hug you someday, as your content brings me comfort as well, and most of all makes me feel seen. Thank you for that 💜
Oh this MV broke me. It was like re-experiencing the pain we saw Namjoon showed us that he was going through at the Festa dinner all over again. He has expressed numerous times through lyrics and in interviews that he started out as a 13 year old kid that just loved music and wanted people to hear his voice and message. While still a teen he was made leader, lyricist and producer and the weight of the success of the group, the agency and all their staff lay largely on his (and Yoongi’s) shoulders. He has also expressed numerous times that we “just loved music”. They didn’t ask to be representatives for their country, ambassadors or speakers at the UN & White House, but of course (because they are good humans), they wouldn’t reject an opportunity to do good in the world. I can’t even imagine the pressures this man has felt…and he’s only just turned 28 (global age). 🤕. I loved the song and MV. Yougeen’s voice was a beautiful addition…haunting with so much “cry” in her voice. The visuals reminded me a little of the “Stay Gold” MV with all the florals and gold particles floating through the air, with a “Life Goes On” sort of ending (on stage). I loved how natural and free Namjoon looked throughout….no idol hair, makeup or outfits….just natural in a field of dreams. We all know nature is his happy place. Thanks for another great reaction. I can relate to them totally even though I am 64 year woman. Their songs always speak to me, At this stage of my life the song "Yet to Come" means so much.

This songs makes me feel so emotional... His first verse is very strong, it sounds like a cry of pain, a manifesto said loudly for anyone to hear. It almost sounds foreign, "out of place", sudden. It sounds like a man screaming who he is in a middle of a crowd, and everybody finds it strange. But when the same verse is repeated at the end, after telling us the whole story through the song, the last verse sounds like he has finally harmonized with the wild flowers he wants to be. It sounds like he managed to melt among the "unnamed flowers", and found his peaceful place on earth. The more I see and hear it, the more I want to cry because of how genuine, deep, heartwrenching and absolutely beautiful these emotions are.
I can’t even imagine the amount of pressure and stress these men have been under from the beginning. They were just kids! They have taken it all on with such humbleness and grace. I am so thankful that I found them and they have been a part of my journey. No matter what the future brings for them I just hope they are happy because they have given that gift so selflessly to so many people. I hope you are finding your happiness again Ashley. I can't help crying or tearing up when I watch the MV and listen to this song, it's just so beautiful and hit me so hard. 😭😭 I am so proud of Namjoon! Indigo is an incredible album. The album was just released but it has already made me feel so many things and heal. Namjoon is my favorite artist for a reason. I appreciate the fact he's so honest with us. Not all can do that and exposing his inner himself and putting out in the world those raw lyrics is just so brave. I always find myself in some way reflected in his music and his songs give me comfort and motivation. It's like if someone is sitting next to me, listening and telling me that everything will be fine, that one day we will make it. Kim Namjoon is an incredible artist and I can't be more proud of him, I'm so proud of everything he has achieved as a celebrity and as a person. He deserves all the love and support! It's incredible how every single song is so f good on its own and even if they are different, I see them as a whole. That's why it's hard for me to choose a favorite one.. that's what happens when you release a real good album. Namjoon's lyricism always blow my mind. I wish him all the happiness, he truly deserves it. 😭💜 I'm OBSESSED.
It was love at first listen for me and this song - it really hit me immediately, and I think it’s my fav on the album (along with forg_tful possibly). RM is sharing exactly what he’s been telling us for a while now… I’m so proud of him and happy to see how proud he is of what he’s managed to create. For me, especially the “burning fireworks to flowerworks, boyhood to eternity” line really hit. He doesn’t want to sparkle brightly, catch attention and disappear into the night sky a few seconds later, but instead wants to be grounded in earth (like he said “I can’t go to the stars again”), and have a long lasting life (!) for himself as well as a healthy, long-term legacy. Fireworks are fun, but die out and are forgotten very quickly, while a flower field can last decades, and brings a much deeper connection, and is alive, part of an ecosystem.
Ashley Sue…I really don’t know what to say. I just randomly watched this reaction. And you showed me a mirror. I’m a middle-aged woman who has been going through a lot. And Namjoon’s album and this song are speaking to me. And now I believe so are you. I found them about a year and a half ago and saw them in person one year ago on December 2-the same day this album dropped. I’ve been trying to articulate what their music and lyrics have meant to me and I now am trying to see what Namjoon is telling me about how to move on. But to hear you is like looking and hearing myself. I don’t feel so alone now. Thank you. There’s so much more I want to say as I sit here with tears in my eyes but I can’t. Just thank you.

I hope you're doing well 💜💜💜 I've been listening to Indigo nonstop since yesterday. There's nothing wrong with not liking every BTS song you listen to, but i do understand that pressure given that you react publicly to the videos. Although I've truly very much enjoyed J-Hope and Jin's outputs this here, and will probably listen to it a lot in the future, it wasn't a natural fit for me since I just don't tend to listen to those styles of music. This RM album is everything I've needed / wanted / desired from BTS since the Be album came out in 2020. I was so pleasantly surprised to hear some of the more upbeat songs as well. I just love the collection of tracks so so so much! It speaks to my soul and I can't wait to get into the lyrics of each one of the songs.
