Whilst out on one of our many trips to London in RM2208 we decided to visit Edmonton, North London and travel over the northern section of the 279 from here to Hammond Street, Hertfordshire which was served by Routemasters up until January 1986 from where you could still get a bus, the 279, right into central London. It was at this time that Edmonton Depot in Tramway Avenue closed. It had been home to horse drawn trams, electric trams, trolleybuses and motor buses. It is now a housing estate but remnants of it still exist and are shown in the video.
