DAMN THAT TURNED OUT SICK BRO!! Where did you find that seat cover with the purple Suzuki? Im restoring my 96 RM80 now. The one i went with is yellow and black gripper top but i couldnt get it with purple text, only black. It looks great but woulda looked better with purple. I think it would look great on yours too to tie in the black graphics you did. I had custom made replica graphics made from Australia. Cant wait to put them on.
You got any more videos of the finished bike? Looks so badass. I started my rebuild s year ago but I shattered my foot severely on my YZ in Feb so I couldn't even hardly walk for 6 months. Anyway, back on the rebuild project now. Your bike is very inspiring. Would love to show you pics soon.
That’s great bro hope you’re enjoying the summer. I’m gonna check it out bro. This one is just to mess around on my yard and drive way. But I’m gonna need a 125 to rip around in the woods behind my house.
Thanks bud I appreciate it hope all is well. Alot of things going on. Bro I know you’re into stock market you should check out fidelity good investment looking at long term
Hopefully everyone is well. Don’t forget to remove the dots on the tank graphics like I did. Anyway my front and side number plates are on the way after some back and forth emails and a phone call. Looking forward to complete the graphics. Y’all be safe
How well is the 85 barrel working?, I’m having the same issue, my barrels trash and need a replacement but there isn’t any in the uk so I was thinking about using an 85 barrel
What year 85 cylinder did you use and did the internals from your 80 cylinder work on the 85 like the exhaust valve please if you have a better way to contact you would be awesome this bike has been a headache .
@@SvgBryanI built a 1996 rm80 and used a 05-08 top end and 02-04 power valves. From my research the power valve design was changed when they went from the 80 to the 85 meaning your rm80 power valves won’t work. To fit the rm85 top end, I had to take a rotary tool so the bottom part of the top end could fit the case. Otherwise, nothing is done to the bottom end and you basically slap the top end together using rm85 parts such as the piston, rings, power valves, wrist pin bearing etc. the reason I went with different year parts was due to availability, not that the 05-08 power valves won’t work, they probably will, it’s just the best priced power valves I could find.
@@SvgBryan around the area in which the top end goes into the bottom end. the 2 parts that go into the bottom end like walls interfere with bottom end so the bottom end must be shaved down. 05-08 as in the model yea 2005-2008 rm 85 top end
