But that's all hopeful wishing. While it sucks they were collateral, there's no one to blame but the old lady.

They both need to lose their license. The trucker initially forced the white car out of their lane during his change. That instigated the road rage, and again the trucker moved to a merge lane when he had no business driving there which was a contributing circumstance in the collision. HOWEVER regardless of what the trucker did, the person driving the white car is equally guilty. Instead of just driving around the truck and carrying on with their day they wanted to play games and "teach them a lesson" which put his life and others at risk and eventually resulted in a collision. A perfect example of what happens when two low skilled low IQ people meet on the road

Had one try this with me, I called to real police on the cell while slowly pulling over. Police pulled up right behind him, and ended up arresting him. Funny thing, one of my friends was going out with a woman who lived in the apartment right above this idiot. a few weeks later, I went to help her move stuff to my friend's place, this idiot comes out in full uniform and starts screaming at me that I can't park there. I just asked him if he didn't learn from the last time we tangled. He ran back into his apartment, didn't see him again that day. Found out a few days later, he was again arrested, held without bail, and his vehicle was impounded. He ended up doing 5 years for his stupidity.

In Canada, there was an old commercial showing what a truck driver could and couldn't see. I've never forgotten it. I can't FIND it but it said you need to be at least 50' in front of the driver so they actually see you.

I asked myself the same thing. The only thing that can be seen is that from 4:53 onwards, to the right of the middle of the image, there is a bright stripe on the lane. This runs parallel to the center line, about 50cm to the left, until about the bridge. Could be a kind of rut that the right front wheel briefly gets into.

3 times out of 4, they ARE the dumbasses on the road. These videos are submitted by the truckers, so of course they aren't posting the videos where they effed up! And most of these are of other truckers, cars doing a retaliatory brake check (because of something the trucker did wrong), or truckers mad that other vehicles don't drive like truckers, like the motorcycle who did absolutely nothing wrong. Seriously, think of the mindset of a trucker who would waste 1 second of their life saving and unloading that video of the motorcycle...

@notdan995 I am both a trucker and a motorcyclist. Statistically speaking, Class 8 CDL drivers (over the road sleeper trucks) are the safest drivers on the road. 80% of the time in a car truck accident the passenger car is the at fault driver. This is not to say that there were ways that the driver could avoided the accident altogether, that is why accidents are classified as either preventable or non-preventable. That first clip the driver should have just backed out of the throttle and moved to the slow lane or pulled onto the shoulder and parked for 5 minutes.

When did he not look. She was approaching from the far lane, not his or the one he was entering. And in terms of age, being an aggressive driver doesn't go away when you get oldest the end the truck was also moving to a different lane and she decided not to pay attention to. What I saw was the driver of the car decided that she wanted to cut the truck off again and ran into a lane where the traffic was stopped and tried to then switch back in front of the truck!!! It never ceases to amaze me that these car can’t see those trucks are just a wee bit bigger than their vehicle!!!! It only takes a second to slow down and let the truck get on down the road after all it could have food,clothes,medicines,that you need on it!!!! It only takes a fraction of a second to be kind!!!!!

never antagonize a truck driver; that's 80,000 pounds of argument you aren't going to win. And if that driver can't respond fast enough to your nonsense (or has just had enough of your bullshit), you winding up as a paraplegic/quadriplegic or likely dead is a real possibility. at freeway speeds, a collision with a semi-truck gives you a single digit chance of walking away unharmed. So that's over a 90% chance the rest of your life will be permanently altered that day, and if the truck dashcam shows you at fault, the trucking company won't have to pay a dime.

The worst are the ones who don’t know how to merge. Why don’t people understand that it is the responsibility of the driver to make a safe merge ? I don’t have to move over just because the merger is too slow or running out of real estate. Plan your merge folks !!! You have to start looking for your merge spot as soon as you get onto the on ramp…. and don’t put yourself in a situation where you are too close to the person in front of you.

First clip, there is no fool like an old fool. I'm retired and I give trucks LOTS of room. This lady needs to get her license permanently revoked. I would find her guilty of assault with a deadly weapon after she deliberately cuts off the truck several times. With so many idiots on the road, I'm glad we don't have commercially available and popular flying cars.

I never could understand why so many people, take huge risks to cut in and out of lanes, get themselves jammed up, get pissed at everyone else around them for “being in their way”… instead of just using the left lane, which is either wide open, or at the very least, is moving past the other traffic easily with no problems whatsoever.

#11 Had exactly the same happen to me just the other day, except it was a much nearer miss than this clip. If it wasn't for the multiple studies from around the globe which show that driving whilst distracted by your phone is far more likely to result in you being involved in an accident than driving drunk is I'd not have a clue how someone can be so oblivious of oncoming traffic with such good visibility.
