A lot of questions are always asked about the durability and reliability for the Seadoo Spark Trixx 2020. This model is a 2up. So we decided to do a series documenting the machine on it's way to 1,000 hours (Road to 1k) to see if it is possible and how the machine is on it's way there. Stay tuned to the series and watch the progress of the spark trixx.

Shred Shack yeah, I absolutely love it. Flirted with the idea of getting the 2020 GTI SE 170, instead, but I love how cheap to run the Trixx is. And, the power to weight ratio is still slightly better than the 170. Awesome fun. As you know!

I have a Spark, we rode it like a mofo last summer. Only to see that we put 40 hours on it. There is 8.760 hours in a year, so you are gonna live on that thing, just to get near the 1K. Will love to follow your mission!

I'm interested in buying the trixx. I recently sold my 2014 rxp x 260 with 682 hours and is still going strong with no issues because of the maintenance I put into it. Will be interesting to see how the trixx engine can hold up.

Just subscribed! I was looking at getting the 3 up just for the added comfort of a second rider. I have two small kids (8 and 6) who I'd wanna take for rides (not really do tricks with). Wonder if the 3 up adds any stability. I think the overall lack of stability is designed that way to be able to make it nimble to do the tricks, etc.

The 3up will have a larger seat and offer slightly better stability, but still not the best. The Gti models are much more stable and comfortable for passengers.

Probably the most important thing is to avoid shallow and dirty water if possible. The plastic wear ring commonly breaks if you suck debris up like rocks or sticks. Otherwise, just get out there and have a blast!

I have 970 hours .... and wondering after 999 the gauge will start all over again counting from 0 .... I went to a big dealer with service .... and ask them ... did not have a clue let me know a competent source to find out ...

Not entirely sure yet, since it is a pretty high goal. I’m going to try to put on as many hours as I can this year in the free time that I do have and see where I’m at as far as a time frame.

Shred Shack that’s 125 8 hour days. A full day of riding for me is more like 4 hours of actual ride time. So that’s roughly 250 days of riding. Your looking at atleast a couple years of riding ALOT to get to 1000 hours. That’s a tall order. I subscribed

It's been reliable so far and I've seen others get a lot of hours without issues so time will tell for me

Its lot of hours..my trix now in53 hours...1000hours with 40km/h average speed is 40 000km...you must all planet..travel..I subscribe but I not believe you made that soon
