A round trip on Interstate 277 in Charlotte NC, also known as the John Belk and Brookshire freeway. Landmarks include the Bank of America tower and stadium and the Duke Energy building. Music: "Money" (Para One remix) by Lido.
Very nice! I know another I-277 well- it's a short route and I know it well- in Akron, Ohio and this is a very cool 277! Very nice! Very nice ride! Gets a HUGE like from me!
Thanks for posting this. This sure brought back memories for me of all the times I've been to Charlotte. I've been to Charlotte a lot because my grandparents lived there. I've been to Charlotte long enough to remember them see them build the Bank Of America building or the NCNB building as it was then called, the older 40 storey one that is.
The Brookshire and The John Belk....(btw, these are the only roads, to my knowledge, that Charlotteans put "The" in front of. This ain't Cali ya*ll) Never say "The 485", people will be like "huh"? Anway, I seldom use 277, but was on it yesterday around rush hour......WOW.... The Davidson St exit is backing up well onto The John Belk now. I suspected this as more condos, apartments, and homes were completed uptown. I even took a detour on stonewall, detoured all over the place, and it is absolutely unbelievable whats happening in our city!! Best part is NO END IN SIGHT!!
I always wonder for Arena's that are used only for Basketball and not Hockey, they probably don't even bother with the boards and have the stands surround the playing court in a much lower bowl.
+Brian Odom Yeah, I just noticed that- I did these annotations last year (ugh) and hadn't realized they'd changed it. I made a note on the video. Good catch and thanks for the heads up!
