I'm a truck driver, I drive this route daily. It's agonizing I almost certainly passed grey at some point and didn't know it.

"Im going to need every single last percent of battery on this trip" *charges 8 devices from Car battery*

A road trip movie where 2 robots forge an emotional bond.

Grey: “I have some serious range anxiety.” Also Grey: “I’m going to take this road that is almost the maximum range of this vehicle, and there is a nonzero chance that when I get to the other side, I won’t have a way to recharge. If even one thing goes wrong, I will be stranded in the middle of the desert with no way to keep going. Here I go!”

This is the story of a man's forbidden love for another man's Tesla.

RU-vid really wanted me to watch this, I've been avoiding for a while but youtube was right and it didn't disappoint.

How did you manage to get me emotionally invested in a car neither of us owns?

It's so weird seeing grey as a real life person, not just a narrator, it's so surreal and so adorable lol, I'm in love.

As I'm sure you already know, most people came into this not thinking they would sit through an almost hour long trip vlog. Yet here we are. This is a testament to your skills in narration, editing, filming and music choices. The highway section from 46:26 to the Arizona sign walloped me with nostalgia and some wonderful memories from my first and only time in the USA. (Over a decade ago now). Thanks for helping dig those memories out from the depths of my brain, I missed them.

grey is literally the most endearing person. the way he got so excited about the small things and spoke to bailey was so sweet and he just seems so genuine. i’ve watched so many of his videos before but this made me truly appreciate him as a person.

for whatever reason, this has become a comfort-watch for me. if i'm feeling really overwhelmed or restless, i just take a little drive through the snow and desert with grey. i think something about the faceless filming is somehow more immersive? all of the outdoor grey videos really hit the "i need to feel safe and like the world is fun and interesting again in a chill, no cliches type way" spot.

I had no intention of watching all 50 minutes in one sitting, but this was a very captivating vlog that I just did it naturally.

I love listening to people say "oh my God it's so much snow" when it's barely sticking. It's a nice reminder that much of the world doesn't spend 4 to 6 months of their year under multiple inches of snow.

Seeing excited gray rather than monotone and professional gray for once is so refreshing. I am as excited to see excited gray as excited gray is excited to see the car.
