Go out and explore even on rainy days, I love your adventurous spirit! However, even if you travel, please remember to eat at regular times. Health is very important! That street food is Takoyaki/octopus balls/octopus dumplings, the main ingredient is octopus! Takoyaki originated in Osaka, Japan, and has become popular in Asia. The method is to add octopus to the dough and bake it into balls about 3-5 cm in diameter. It is usually topped with green wasabi, nori, sauce, and bonito flakes! Thanks for sharing such a episode made me hungry, great job! 👍😋👌
The Place that sells food is very clean, and the chef Very clean, friendly and tidy while serving the food. The types of food are so delicious. Thank you for the wonderful coverage♥️
That was my previous visited spot place during my working years in Balik Pulau. Now I already pension back home to my kampung. By the way I also once visited your capital Brussel during attending 2 week course at Rotterdam in 2017.
Riding the bike during the wet season is seriously challenging so do be careful Tim.🙏Thanks to the nutmeg vendor for highlighting to us that Kew Gardens has the sapling as well.Never realise that until now. Will keep a lookout for it next trip.Continue to enjoy your cruising around the island and stay safe!Legend........💕🇲🇾
The nutmeg juice vendor is indeed very knowledgeable, well spoken and I heard a bit of foreign accent in his spoken English. Good ambassador to foreign tourists for Penang.
Its the start of the monsoon season so you will experience more rain but its also fruit season. There's a Bao Shang Fruit Farm i think in Penang. Its a fruit orchard cum resort. People go there mainly for their variety of durians. Takoyaki is a Japanese snack. In Japan they only have squid fillings but in Malaysia they have a variety of fillings. Those flakes on top of the takoyaki is called bonita flakes which can only be obtained from Japan.
Thanks for the information! I might drop by the farm in my future trips, Takoyaki was very good as well! It was my first time and truly unique experience trying it in Malaysia.
It's almost end of the year and in Malaysia it's rainy season, you'll experience more rain during this time so be prepared.... Takoyaki originally from Japan but you can find in almost every night market here in Malaysia and sometimes at the small roadside stall, I like it too as a snack... Bakso is originally from Indonesia, but also quite famous here in Malaysia. It's basically meatball soup with noodles. Balik Pulau famous for it's durian orchard. If it's durian season it's best for you to get it fresh from the orchard... Penang is a small Island, you've been actually making a trip round the island without noticing.... 😂😂😂
I'm local from Penang balik pulau I didn't know you just start exploring balik pulau .. actually you could find a lot of food store or vendor will be open on late of evening until the night you could find good different food here like laksa, char kuey tiaw,Mee udang and a lot more .. also yes now currently had raining season all around northern it's also part of our happiness to get little cooler because we all like all year in summer😅
Hello Tim, nice to see and love you video, if you go to terengganu i hope you to go to terapuri heritage Village, you will love the places and the atmosphere there.
Hi Tim, there're really good street food like Asam Laksa, Cendol and your favourite, Durian in Balik Pulau. The sweet smell could be the nutmeg trees!😊😂
Last three month of the year , it's rainy season . High tide . Stormy weather. Heavy rain. Landslide, falling trees. Even in the big city sometimes tree is broken and falling onto people . Just know your surroundings and safety first everywhere tim . Sometimes, floods too . Or maybe certain road is closed . I always double check Google map and Waze . 😂
End of the year msia is in monsoon seasons, oct, nov n dec.its normal.best time with less rain n sunny weather starts feb to march.between those two seasons is alternate between raining n sunny.😂

Should have try the laksa beacuse there are varieties of laksa in Malaysia. Laksa Perak, Laksa Penang, Laksa Johor, Laksa Sarawak, Laksa Kelantan [Laksam] etc. Laksa Penang is among Penang famous food. FYI late October, November and December is raining season for Malaysia.
That is penang hill bro. Well done bravo you had make it. It's water reserve for penang residents. Water Dam. Many people love to exercise here you can hear frogs croaking and cool breeze..
the food is suitable for the weather but the drink maybe you should pair it with "limau panas" or "teh O limau panas"...good pair for the weather and also for bakso
At the beginning of the conversation you will use a motorcycle, I hope it is not the same scooter as in Cameron , but at least you chose a new scooter even though it's the same 125cc 😂
@@timtense i see but i was wondering why u never saw takoyaki its everywhere here in Malaysia especially in KL and Selangor, have a safe trip bro 🫡 and beware Malaysian traffic and drivers are crazy sometimes, i just broke my leg few months ago bcs of a stupid driver
bro please dont be generous because the price inclusive of profits and sellers will only hike up prices for others customers if you start acting that way.
