Our trip in March 2023 took us along the Seweweekspoort to Calitzdorp. We took the R62 gravel road to the Swartberg Pass where we witnessed some breath-taking scenery in the Gamkaskloof on our way to The Hell. We spent one night in the Gamkaskloof and made our way back via the R62 and came across the Kruisrivier Guest Farm. This was a pleasant surprize as this campsite offered amazing views, clean ablutions, and great hospitality. It was one we will remember for a long time to come.
