Of all the videos I've watched of you all, this was by far the best one. I loved the drone footage at the end. Beautiful place. I plan to visit Moab as one of my destination places. Its been nice following you knuckleheads and wacting your comroddery.
I'm glad to see Cole is doing well. Saw his jump at utv takeover. Definitely scary. Also, just another plug for you guys to come to utv takeover in coos bay Oregon.
Great stuff! Always better to drive it home than be towed so good call on the winch for a little added security 👍 you guys rock for caring about each other like that.
Looks like the four seaters have an advantage on that sketchy incline Doug was starting to flip at slow speed I think if he had a little more momentum the front end would have dropped down but that must have felt spooky when all you see is sky and knowing you would roll all the way back down...I wont lie I'd go for the winch too.
Heck Yeah Dudes! Rocks are definitely nice to ride on, especially when the roughness changes and some parts of the rocks are wet and some are not. Really makes you think about the lines and the amount of power you try to put on the ground. Riding rocks is an essential part of off roading here in Finland too.
Definitely was looking forward to some Rock Savage/Rescue Safety 1 (RS1) content in there but its all good. Nice footage fellas! Dougie D String, you'll get 'er next time!
what's funny is for the few hard parts you could install an electronic pully system or something or have a designated vehicle that pulls cars up...no one would ever get stuck, flip over, etc.
I'm always so glad to see you do something like Moab. Sxs's are so versatile and customizable. We ride Rocky Mountains and Moab all the time. Btw We run 50"ers wife has RZR I have Mav. We have 2 so we can get out of nowhere if we wreck one or mech probs.
Did you guy's see some of the cavemen graffiti??? When i was out there i hid 4 quarters under a big rock off the chicken trail... in hopes one day I'll be back to find it..... guess what, i don't remember witch rock i hid the change under!!! Looks like I'll be tipping over a lot of rocks! Spent a lot of Easter weekends there.... Mick's guided tour ROCK'S!!! awesome video gentlemen!
@@SXSBlog indeed, when crawling, the sway bar gots ta go! Matt from busted knuckle helped me find a sweet disconnect kit...offroadonly.com/shop/suspension/rzr-swayloc/
You need to ride the Piute trail system in western Utah (Marysvale). You ride all day going from town to town and on some of the trails it's so long you need to stay overnight on the trail then in town alternating back and forth. I think the total amount of trails are over 3000 miles, some are marked and some you're on your own. We averaged between 50 and 90 miles pre day depending on how tuff the trail is. If you go you will soon understand it's all about range and not speed, the more fuel you have the better.
Above a certain altitude the air thins to the point where you get the same.peformance from less octane fuel. When i moved to utah i had 94 octane in my truck and it was like on race fuel.
@@Ryan-yo4dg The RS1 did really well. I don't have a winch yet so I was a little nervous about going in some places but that little machine is so planted, it made most of the trails look simple. I really like the open wheels to see where I'm riding. Hell's Gate was simple to go up even though I was scared. I couldn't get up the Escalator or the Tip over Challenge. Wheelbase is too short.
I hate to give Leo props but....throw back to the MWGA Unit coming up this sucker and nobody else would even try it. Props Leo, enjoy, this could be the one and only time lmao.
Those runaway ramps have like 3 feet deep pea gravel which stops a loaded semi almost immediately so the canyon is no big deal, fyi if a truck uses it the driver has to pay to redress it at a cost of $6,000.00
Those runaway ramps are gravel for sure but they are about 3-4 feet deep in that gravel so if you hit it you will definitely bury you vehicles down long before you get to the end
@@turbo-brian Had the AFX sliders also, my Max trashed them. Went to Factory UTV skid and integrated sliders. Car does not look as good but better for crawling now.
The runaway truck ramps are very deep gravel and they just swallow big rigs up. Except one time in Idaho when it was iced over and it turned into a giant ramp, didn't end well
Them souped up SXS's are like mini trophy trucks. It's crazy how many people you have with you guys, compared to 2 years ago. Man, that looks like fun but it's got to beat you up.
@@SXSBlog ya same here. If it was that close I'd half to see if I could find ya guys on the trails with my chevota whenninget it done. An you guys were maybe 4 hours from the famous Diesel brothers shop as well. An thanks to cleetus McFarland I'm hooked on your videos.
Great video. You guys are so lucky to be able to drive there. If that was in Australia the fun police would have already banned vehicles from driving there.
Gotta love high altitude gas buds! Idk why the sham us on it. Also, its a tough break yall were too late for ridding here in Colorado! Overall, great video buds
MOAB is on my bucket list of places to go. Looks like a amazing place to ride. Except I won't be taking the Grizzly haha. I think my Colorado ZR2 will do just fine there.
Moab is just as much fun on an atv. Been going out there at least once a year for the last 10 years. Did it in the General last year. First time not being on an atv.
@@780Aleks-AB Hey, it's your truck. It will get around out there, but from someone who has been there over a dozen times, an atv or sxs is the way to go. You would understand if you had been there already, but I understand some just have to find out for themselves. Pictures and videos do absolutely no justice to how intense some of the riding really is.
