I would definitely get the option with television and microwave make it as homey as possible even though you’re driving a lot it’s still nice to have what you need
Thinking of getting into hotshot and already have a cdl. Would love a truck spec to that expect add the TV with DVD player and take out the center console.
Maybe add a taller sleeping birth for those of us who are over 6' tall.. I was a OTR driver and got use to the big sleeper on my walk in FLD Freightliner so for future recommendations I suggest installing a larger and taller sleep birth bcoz the driver wants to be able to enjoy his tv and his cooked meals also, it can't be one or the other.. Maybe a Peterbuild sleeper would fit a this chassis..

Is the Onan generator diesel and pulls fuel from the truck tank, or does it have to have its own gasoline tank? And why is the generator not in an enclosure?
This Onan generator comes self enclosed, and runs on gasoline. We install a 30 gallon gas and 60 gallon fuel tank combo. You can upgrade to a diesel generator, and it can pull from a rear fuel tank.
Shane, we are not a vehicle dealer, and we do not currently offer financing. We simply fabricate the cab & bed conversions you see in our videos. Any financing will need to be handled by a dealership (we can make recommendations of dealers we've dealt with). Every vehicle we've featured was purchased new & drop shipped to our shop.
Our base cab model starts at $9900. The cab on this truck has extra features, which in turn increases the price above the base model. Base model info can be found on our website at roadmastertruck.com.

Shane Carroll no, we do not currently offer financing on our cabs. Financing is available if you purchase from a truck from a dealer who can roll the cab into the purchase. We can help with dealer recommendations if you’d like.

$9,900 sounds like a lot but think of it from a hotel cost stand point. Firstly, it’s a USDOT violation to sleep in a pickup but we do it anyway. So if you’re out on the road 5-6 days per week and you stay in hotels every other night to get proper rest at a cost of roughly $250-300. That’s $1000-$1200 per month. Multiple that by 12 months and that has well exceeded your almost $10,000 extension cost. Now if you run your pickup well, like a business at ~3k/ week it’ll last 3 maybe 4 years if well maintained. So that cab extension could potentially save you $20,000-$30,000 or more of hotel costs and fees over the lifespan of the truck.
