Roadtrip! Yep, another roadtrip! I am headed back to Indiana to pick up the body panels for Jumping Jack Flash, our nostalgia front engine dragster. My friend John from Cope Racing Transmissions introduced me to a guy named Ed, he painted all of John's trucks. Needless to say, Ed is a very talented artist that has been doing this type of work for over 50 years, he pants most of the signs at Indiana Beach too! In less than a week he turned the body panels into a work of art! I was absolutely impressed with his work, and I can say this, he will be doing all of my work moving forward! If you would like to inquire about getting some amazing artwork done by Ed, I put his email down below. Ed, if you are seeing this, thank you very much, your custom artwork and lettering is amazing!!! Oh, what do you think of the name? The "J&J Speed and Machine" Jumping Jack Flash nostalgia front engine dragster!
Seeing I am in Indiana, I might as well go up to Cope Racing Transmissions and visit John and Lucas. While at the shop, I show off the artwork Ed did on John's trucks, more amazing work! While I was there, we of course had to get some lunch, Chicago style hot dogs of course! It is always good to see those two guys!
Now, how do the body panels look installed on the dragster? Well, I headed back to Jimmy's and put them on. Wow, just wow! This dragster looks like it is going 200 MPH just sitting still! Ed did an amazing job, it really looks great with the red my friend fast Eddie laid down! This slingshot is going to look tough at the dragstrip! Stay tuned my friends, a lot of awesome content is coming soon!
