I love watching your videos! They have gotten me through these last two months while I have been recovering from a car wreck. I have definitely been in the valley but thank God I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I haven’t been able to walk since the end of May due to severe injuries to both legs and had to have surgeries on both. I was finally cast free one week ago and I’m praying that come Thursday when I go back to the doctor I get the green light to start weight bearing and walking a little bit.
We are so glad you are doing better and know this must have been a difficult time in your life. Keep walking through the valley and we pray you can see the other side. God bless and we will be praying for you.🙏🏻
You fireside chat reminded me of a song by the McKameys. It's called God on the Mountain. The God on the mountain is still God in the valley. When things go wrong He'll make them right. That is a great song. We should trust Him through the good and the bad.
That looks like a really nice place. If some friends or family don’t have an RV, the can stay in a cabin or yurt, and still be together. Thank you for sharing this. Nice place for a family reunion. 😊
Hello Karen and Mike!! I enjoy your videos. You always seem to have a great vacation and this campground looked fantastic!! The nice things is that you are only 25 minutes from the Peddler!!!
We love your videos. Would love to meet you both one day when we can get out of Florida. We were minister’s of music for 23 plus years, and can relate to you guys.
Thanks Mike and Karen your absolutely right about the mountains and valleys. I’m on my way out of the valley only by keeping my eyes upon the Lord. Thanks for the great video.
I remember the old Jellystone! It is a great campground! We love watching you both and you guys are such a sweet couple. We would love to meet you while in the Smokies sometime! God bless you both!
Looks like an awesome place! Mike was talking about valleys. Like everyone else, I've had many of those. On April 10th, 2017, our Granddaughter, Angela, was promoted to Glory. She was just shy of turning 18. She had a bleeding disorder. We miss her so very much. Then recently, our Granddaughter, Beth, had to have surgery and our Grandson, Alec, was hospitalized with a high fever, with no known cause. Cancer was suspected. Many people were praying for both., Including both of you! No cancer, Praise God! They have recovered and are back home now, Praise God! ❤️❤️❤️
I remember going there when it was Imagination campground. Seems more adult contemporary now. Sad to see the miniature golf, and top floor arcade gone. My daughter loved the pirate ship that all the kids played on. That’s gone There’s a really cool logging road that goes back to an old 1800 history cabin next to the property. Even with upgrades, Still a really nice area. Thanks for sharing.
I just received a tabletop firepit 🔥 as a Father's Day gift. As I'm watching this video, I'm sitting right next to the "Stuffed Puffs" plant next to Allentown Pennsylvania. 😂 That's a little bit odd 🤔. Great video. I enjoyed it a lot. May GOD bless and protect you always 🙏
Good ole JellyStone, I pass by there everyday going to and from work. When I was a kid it was JellyStone and was themed with the hanna Barbra characters. it is interesting to see what they did with the spot, I had some family in and they camped there back in the 80's and 90's.The lesson was lovely as well, mini Church meeting while camping I love it. When my parents and I would go camping my aunts and uncles would come over to visit often and for sure on Sunday and we would sing some and do a small lesson as well and partake in communion.
Beautiful video guys!!!Such a convenient campground with gorgeous views with so many amenities, and just so peaceful! There is a song that says...The God on the mountain is still God in the valley! He promised to never leave us or forsake us!Amen!🙌
Thank you for bringing some Jesus into your video in a refreshing way. It's wonderful to see others who are not afraid to share their faith in such a relaxed way through their travel adventures. Can't wait to get on the road and see America one campground at a time.
I remember when it was Jelly Stone Campground. WOW what an upgrade! I had a Yellow Stone camper, 28', when I camped there. I like this place better than Green Briar cause it's more private by streams with heavy canopy. 2 night min. Stay for me cause of the work to set up. 4-7 nights are better.. thanks again for taking me along !!! Also,,, the only time I camped on payment was at the fishing bridge @ Yellow Stone National Park.. to me, the payment takes away from the camping experience..
It has been hot! I ate at Trish's Mountain Diner for lunch today. Thanks for the review. I ate at Crystelle Creek Restaurant for my birthday dinner today. You stayed not to far from these restaurants.
Roamstead looks like a wonderful peaceful place for my husband an I next trip to the smokies. Thank you for sharing your adventures with us an especially for the campfire talk.
Just keep Big T cool and comfortable…it looks like he loves setting in Mom’s lap…love y’all’s videos 🫶🏻♥️🫶🏻♥️…much love and prayers for God’s continued protection…from Mouse Creek Rd. here in Cleveland TN! 🙏🙏🙏
Wow. I love this campground. It is so woodsy. I have never seen yurts with a/c, heat, a fridge and a locking door. That was great. So many choices of camping. I hope they keep it nice and clean forever. I guess that is my #1 request that everything is clean and everything is comfortable is my #2 request. I'm with you. If I'm going to camp, I want to be in the woods or wooded area. No concrete for me and no hustle and bustle. We do a lot of backroads riding. Stay away from the crowds. Thanks for the blessing of the food. Thanks for the quick fireside chat. My life is full of valleys right now. Just waiting to come out the other side. Hey 👋 to my man, Big T. Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to you. ❤️ Thanks for sharing. Have fun, be safe, and God Bless. ❤️
Mike and Karen, what an absolutely beautiful campground! Thank you for taking me along with you really enjoyed your fireside chat! I'd like to have a house near the river. Give Big T a big hug from me and Jr. Really enjoyed your video! Love y'all and God Bless You!❤️
Hi, the Albright Trail head is just above you, Old growth forest the last mile, it's magical & usually people-less! Huge trees become "nurse logs" for years after falling, not a hard trail but 6.7 mi/rt, 4 hrs + breaks :) Also a great trail on foggy days when hiking for views is not possible because of weather.
WOW😮 what a amazing campgrounds ❤⛰️ I see Roamstead had put your video on their Facebook page 👍 Loved the fireside talk, it hit home on being in the valley. 😔 Thanks for sharing, hey Big T🤗❤️🐾 God bless
This is MY kind of place! I would prefer this to anything. Yes, I would like a shower/bathroom, but otherwise I just want to be in nature. I will def check this out! It’s so beautiful! I wonder if bears ever come through? I would actually like to see them. Thank you for your encouraging words! They mean a lot in these troubling times. Thanks for showing us this lovely place, yes, fall would be spectacular!💓🙏🏻🐻
That is an awesome game ground!!! The best one I've seen in Tennessee so far.. there's a really nice one outside of. Of Nashville is really nice as well I can't remember the name of..
Been watching your videos for some time now. We have reservations at Margaritaville in September then on to Bristol for the races. We live in West Tennessee and will definitely book a weekend here at Romestead! Thanks for all the work you do in bringing these videos. Go Vols and Big T! The Hunts!
Had a few vacations here back when it was yogi campground, than they changed to imagination mountain. Drove past on our way back from Gatling late at night and didn’t recognize the front of the building. Weird how it looks the same but different.
Love this campground! Thanks so much for sharing. I would love to know where you got the little tabletop fireplace and what brand? I would love to have one. Love seeing Big T. ❤️
One more beautiful place that God carved into our beloved Mountains of Tennessee. There’s a beautiful old song called, Someone is Praying for Me by Rickey Scaggs, We have had three people pass on, one on my mother’s family, one on my dads side-and one on my brother’s in law family since lateJune of this year. Uncle Bubba, Aunt Isabel and Lori. All these immediate families know the highest of highs and lowest of lows. As Karen said there is always a way to God coming out of the valley. Somebody's prayin', I can feel it Somebody's prayin' for me Mighty hands are guiding me To protect me from what I can't see Lord I believe, Lord I believe Somebod's prayin' for me All My love, hugs for Big T
Mike, where did you get your table-top campfire container? Gotta get me one. BTW (I don't remember which video you posted it) but THANKS for the info on The Moss Family. We call them the "Comfort Food" of RU-vidrs - LOVE you and Karen as well - LOL!!! Be Blessed - Be Safe.
Encouragement .... would love to hear more and longer fireside chats. It's living water for the thirsty. God has already equipped both of you. You have an audience size of a VERY VERY large church. I am hoping this encouragement is beneficial. If you make the adventure portion of the videos shorter, and the God time fireside chats longer, I would bet your audience grows. Many are called, few are chosen.
