Not gonna lie, as a physics major, the first 20ish minutes I kept going "well, hmm--, actually, technically its--" but in the end, it's really hard to summarize and explain in any conceptual manner how any of that stuff works, and for all intents and purposes in its stage setting here, the minor technical inaccuracies didn't create any real flaws in the overall picture, so I can appreciate that. More importantly, however, there's a beautiful underlying message that Rob skirted around, but didn't quite land on. And that's about the second law of thermodynamics: entropy. We view entropy as being one of those sort of bad things or something we need to try and fight against, but he also mentions how beautiful the complexity of the world and the direction it's heading is, in it's ever expanding complexities, and most people would totally agree with both statements and not bat an eye. The interesting thing about this, though, is how these complexities only arise as a *consequence* of entropy and through its forward progression in time. We are very much so bound by this aspect of entropy in life, which many would view as bad, and is something hard to push against. (Increasing disorder is usually a no bueno). And yet, the increasing disorder is also what allows for beautiful things to come about. The best parts about life come from the beauty that's overall brought about by disorder. Much like how we ourselves are best shaped by our own "bad" experiences. The forward direction of the universe is disorder and pain, but it's also one of growing to be more complex and more beautiful, not despite the loss, but *because* of it. Kinda ties a nice little bow around it all, I'd say.
Only half way through, I was wondering why he hadn’t addressed entropy. As I was putting the video on pause, The word entropy caught my eye in your comment. So glad you addressed it, especially in this manner. Beautiful explanation.

@@opengates777 imagine if we used the love of God to get people to come to know him instead of a threat of hell and eternal damnation? The threat of hell never gets people to freely want to serve only God all the days of their lives. It does however, get people to conform to doctrine and become obedient to wickedness in the form of religion. The sole purpose of Jesus was to reconnect us with God our Father. And HE DID!
@@beckyloney4816 There is no threat of hell or eternal torment in those verses! I don't believe in hell or eternal torment! Don't you know anything about the second death? There is a second type of death in scripture that is different from spiritual death, and physical death we experience in this life. The second death this is known as eternal death. In the Book of Revelation we read. V The one who has an ear, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who overcomes will not be hurt at all by the second death (Revelation 2:11). Unless spiritual death is reversed in this life, the result will be eternal death. This is unending separation between God and all who reject Him. Believers are not affected by the second death. V Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years (Revelation 20:6). The final judgment, or the lake of fire, is the time when the second death occurs. V Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death (Revelation 20:14). The second death is reserved for unbelievers. Those who experience this death are all those whose names are not found written in the Book of Life. V But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars - their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death (Revelation 21:8). Eternal death, or the second death, is the ultimate form of separation. If a person dies in a state of spiritual death, they enter eternity separated from God. This is the second death. Once a person has experienced the "second death" there is no hope for them, it is irreversible. Physical death is the separation of the body from the spirit. Spiritual death, the way all of us are born, is the spiritual separation of each of us from God. Eternal death, or the second death, is the eternal separation of a person from God. There is no escape from the second death. There is no third resurrection mentioned in all of scripture that can bring back the ungodly people! It's over! V Luk 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them,Luk 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able. Love this teaching and can't get enough of it! It amazes me that people take such stock in a "literal" reading of a book that is questionable from start to finish in how it was gathered, put together, which books were accepted and which weren't, how it was heavily edited and reworded, etc. If you never taken the time to study thoroughly the origins of the book and only accept what others (pastors, preachers, etc.) have told you about it and what it says and/or means, then you don't have a leg to stand on when others have done this and found a completely different truth then you. Inspiration comes in many forms and through many people, it did not end in the days of Jesus and the Apostles. I only have one piece of solid advice for these people who condemn others because they've accepted a "different" truth from them and it is: Psalm 46:10 Be STILL and KNOW that I AM GOD. Take the time to BE STILL...turn your thoughts inward and you will meet the REAL CHRIST.

I was like gospel church, Beatle mania through this whole thing! Calling' out "witness!!!" Philosophical masterpiece. Beautifully constructed and demonstrated chain of thought. It literally does take two uninterrupted hours to talk and draw diagrams to begin to even scratch the surface of explaining the nature of reality that few have glimpsed. Marvelous work!

The wonder of creation and we've barely scratched the surface of our understanding. The more one delves into this stuff, the more ones heart grows bigger and empathy for others increases. How could it not. We ARE all connected. What one does affect another and the ripple doesn't end. The bigness both calms and overwhelms me. Learning more and more how to hold two differing ideas in my mind and heart at once.

Dear Rob, Thank you! Prior to this video, I have been going through a deep Spiritual Awakening. I've been having some intense visions, dreams and signs that what I've been taught in the church wasn't necessarily wrong, but not the full picture. As some of us do, I used to suppress those dreams and visions as if they were wrong. Here’s how this spiritual awakening started: In 2017, my wife gave birth to two beautiful twin girls. Immediately afterwards, the 33 year old vegan fo 15 years (my healthy wife) suffered heart failure. Here ejection fraction was as low as 13%. Afterwards, she could not walk and had to wear a defibrillator vest. As you can imagine, it was the darkest time of our lives because the Doctor's stated that she could die at any moment. Therefore, I quit my job not knowing how we would get through something like this.Also, I had to take care of 2 babies and my wife. We also have a son who was 9 years old at the time. As I called the creditors to let them know, they did not show any compassions and I couldn't blame them. So, this made life even more devastating. Anyway, I took my wife to every Doctor's appointment. I cooked I cleaned, I took my son to school, changed diapers, everything. At night, I couldn't make it up the stairs because I was exhausted and a couple of nights, I fell asleep on the steps. Fast forward to 2018, my wife got pregnant again. We were told by several doctors to terminate this baby because my wife would not live. My wife decided to keep the baby and take the risk. During that pregnancy though something miraculous happened. By the time our new baby was 8 months, my wife's ejections fraction reached 69% which meant that she was completely healed from the heart failure. Amazing, right!! Fast forward to 2019, I finally was able to go back to work, but I was not the same person anymore. This is when the visions started to happen. In my visions, I was told that my daughter has the power of healing in the palms of her hands. I was also began to see visions of people’s lives and see their spiritual gifts. At work, as I encounter people, I vividly see things that I am to some people think that I may nor supposed to see. I can tell what a person has gone through in their life time and guide in the right direction. I also met individuals who told me that I am empath and that I need to look up spiritual awakening. I did! Now my visions are so powerful and vivid that they come sometimes and won’t stop. I realized in a very short amount of time that I needed to go deeper to find out what is going on with me. The phrase: “ Everything is spiritual” popped in my head. I told someone that I am going to do my research on this because I believe something is powerful going on in the Universe. I landed on your video and I was weeping through just about half of it because it was exactly what I was feeling inside and you were able to break it down for me. Thank you!

Mr. Bell! I am new to your work and found out about you from Lewis Howes's podcast. It's been an absolute crazy "coincidence" that I stumbled upon your work at the time that I did, it's an old saying that "when the student is ready the teacher will appear" and it was most certainly the case here! Something greater than I was definitely at work. I am originally Iranian but have been living in the USA (Oklahoma) for the past 6.5 years. As someone who was completely closed off to religion because of it being forced on him in Iran and then going to church for a bit here and they saying that they're the only right people in the world and then right after continue to preach about love, i felt an incongruency, and I completely got away from all that, and went down a more "Spiritual but not religious" path. However when the hard times came I felt an emptiness that previously I had just distracted myself from feeling with different things. Long story short even though this already got way longer than I wanted it to, through some intense meditation sessions I felt the presence and peace of God and also felt Jesus's presence which lead me to start reading the Bible, and now I have been feeling a deep calling to spread the message of God, but not the traditional idea of God but in the same exact way that you talk about it. That calling has lead me to start this RU-vid channel however I really enjoy in person talking and sharing not to a camera alone. Finding your work literally made me have a moment of: "oh my god.... where have I been this whole time, this is exactly the same things I believe and it was almost like seeing who I want to be, being manifested through you." I felt instantly afterwards that I just need to meet you at least once, stumbling upon your work was too great of a timely sign for me to ignore. So if you need an intern, someone to shoot and edit videos for you, or anything done in Oklahoma or in the surrounding states, please let me know, I would love to be a part of your team in any shape possible!!! Brilliant! If only sermons in church were this good, churches wouldn’t be empty. What he is saying is absolutely right & needs to reach a wide audience. It seems to be an idea whose time has finally come. For other people who have done a lot of work that would be in support of this topic, see the research by Rupert Sheldrake & the writings of Ken Wilber, as well as their clips on You Tube. They are very informative, but Rob is definitely more entertaining.
