I remember writing Rob Lowe off in the 80's as just another handsome face. Boy was I wrong. In addition to his talent, he has that mix of natural wit and charm that make him the perfect interview subject. AND he's still so freaking handsome. Damn you, Rob Lowe!

There's a line in Harvey Fierstein's stage version of TORCH SONG TRILOGY where lover Alan who's a model says "I tell everyone that YOU are the pretty one" to Arnold played by Harvey (and others). This is Rob's line for the next 1000 years as his portrait ages and molders while he remains unchanged.

Large houses like in Montecito have those Pansonic systems as they're also intercoms because the houses are so vast. Plus, they use them to answer the intercom at the gate[s]. Also: Areas like that don't have very good cell coverage. Which they like. They get to say: "Sorry. [I missed your call/text] I don't have cell service where I live."
