It's a well known phenomenon. Your brain will alter your speech pattern based on how it hears it's own voice. Sending a slightly delayed recording to the ear is actually a really effective way at getting rid of a persons stutter as it causes someone to slow and slur their speech more.

I think what happened was that a PR person was telling him what to say via the earbuds he was wearing. He was probably trying to hear them and repeat what they said, but it didn't come out smoothly.

Rob Manfred (the guy being booed) protected the Houston Astros instead of doing what he should've done (banning key players for life.) The Astros won the 2017 World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers using illegal electronic equipment to steal signs. Manfred also referred to the World Series Trophy as a "piece of metal." Just about everyone you hear booing are Dodgers fans.

Maybe he was drinking cuz baseball is so boring...didn't even know they had the world series this year till youtube showed me the drunk...always cheating, always whining about unwritten rules and tradition that makes no sense. Even when you play the sport it's boring, the ball might get hit to you but chances are you don't do anything but stand there and if you get a ball your way it's a pretty routine play most of the time. The hardest part about the game is not zoning out between pitches.
