Patti and I are on a 10 Day Baltic Sea Cruise with Holland America Line. We are sailing on the Nieuw Statendam. We start and finish In Copenhagen, Denmark. We have port stops at the following locations.
Visby, Gotland, Sweden
Riga, Latvia
Tallinn, Estonia
Helsinki, Finland
Stockholm, Sweden
Warnemunde (Berlin), Germany
Kiel (Hamburg), Germany
At each port we go on an excursion offered by Holland America

Hi Rob, I am enjoying your Scandi-European tour vlogs so far. I am sure you learned a lot about these cities/towns that are steeped in history and vibrancy rather than soulless concrete suburbia such as Hendersonville, TN.

It is amazing how much stuff there is to do out there. Living in the states it becomes easy to think that our traditions, religions, driving habits, eating habits, living arrangements, etc are the only way these things are done…everywhere. I realize Patti and I are fortunate that we have the resources to be able to travel wherever and whenever we want. This gives us the ability to travel out of the country and see how other people live. To be able to enjoy these experiences, you have to have somewhat of an open mind. There is a lot of history out there. You might have to walk on some cobblestones to see it.
