Zurab was a tall order for a guy mostly making a comeback. RVJ didn't look completely out of his league, but still has a way to go before he can hang with the east's monsters.
Zurab is arguably the number 1 guy at 95kg right now and the fact Rob gave him some resistance in his first match back is promising for his future in the sport, just hope he sticks with it
@@brokenarm6575 tbh I thought that may have been a mistranslation and he meant to say 95kg but if he meant to say 105 I don’t think he has any chance, hand is too vulnerable against each like’s of John, Irakli, Ongarbaev etc
@@TimmyTurner421 Thank you for the comment my brother, i agree that Rob will get better and more confident. Also very excited to see more matches from him in the future.
While RVJ lost, this was his return match after long inactivity, against the #1 guy, and he had some really promising moments in this match! With continued gym/table training, I think RVJ can have some pretty exciting matches in this division. Looking forward to seeing him pull again.
Zurab is such a warrior ! Much respect to Zurab ! 💪🏾 Amazing match ! Awesome tournament ! Organization at a high level ! 🔥 Thank you so much , Engin , for dedicating your energy and time to make it come true ! 🙏🏾
So happy to see RVJ back on the big stage. Guy is a warrior with a lot of heart and character. Very important for NA armwrestling. Looking forward to seeing just how quickly he's going to rise back to the top! 💪🏼
The biggest thing in this match has got to be the sportsmanship by Zurab. Terrible call by the refs (who are generally good at EvW, they made a mistake here) and he absolutely did the right thing, great to see. RVJ lost, but it's not like he embarrassed himself, good to see him back in the sport. ...damn, half a bottle of wine and I've been nice twice in 1 comment without any sarcasm. As a British person, I feel like I just let my entire country down 😄
Would love to see RVJ dedicate himself to a full on comeback, training hard and working on his game to come back to EvW 8 or 9 and get a W! Also seeing Zurab go up against ToddZilla at some point would be awesome!
@@PaulLinn717 Awesome to hear Paul! I heard you saying on Beerman’s livestream (yes I actually watch it sometimes lol) that you are going to be partnering with RVJ to train which is awesome to hear. With the kind of training you put in he’ll be in good hands, and I know you’ll benefit as well…can’t wait to see the results!💪🏼
This one was one of the most exciting and fun matches to watch at the event for me! I mean in general the whole event was a banger as usually great matches! But seeing RVJ's comeback on what level he is right now if he still have it was good to see. And even it was 3-0 win for zurab RVJ was still competitive enough great match to watch hope Rvj comes back. And zurab is a absolute monster at this weight class congratulations to the win 💪
I like Rob. I though Zurab would blow through him just from inactivity alone and Zurab is in a streak. Rob gave him a good fight for being away so long.
Good showing from rob i thought. You could see in his face that pulling zurab obviously feels like pulling a tractor but apparently rob can hang on to a tractor for a good while.
Man rob is right there its the most entertaining 3-0 match ive seen. I feel like if Rob had taken a few tune up matches against guys who can push him like a robbie russell or practicing with adam warzenski would definitely knock off thw rust. Rob isnt known as a technical puller either id love him to spend some time with John. John is an all time smart puller that gets bored and gives everything away just to leace no doubt and that is usually what bites him in the ass. But Rob is very similar to John as far as build, genetics, and style and even if a fraction of John's iq rubs off on rob he would be beating americas best guys in that weight class. But im still impressed by him and Zurab has made me a big fan if his aswell especially after the whole center table pin thing and he said fuck it ill do it again.
Act of Zurab did at round 3rd was the definition of sportsmanship. He felt not right about the win, so he even encouraged the opponent to talk up the case 👍 Ikr... this particular rule regarding that "middle line" thing could really get complicated when circumstances given like this (but I'm talking from casual fan point of view though, so i might be wrong completely). Because as i saw in 3rd, it was Zurab who lost the wrist, but still, both pullers' hands landed at rjv side, so that could also means "even though Zurab lost his hand, he still was stronger/able to put more power on the table (which is/or should what armwrestling all about) ... Indeed a hard call and i think the rule at least should be edit or something. btw Zurab looks badass here! This match kinda make me want to see Zurab in a fight of sort, like MMA or something like that(just not that slap fight thing please 🤦🏻). Dude should be in a epic fantasy movie where he get casted as a frontline warrior or something... OH and dude looks like elven kinds of The Elder Scrolls, especially of those Altmer folks/High Elf. Just gotta slap the pointy ears there, and you got a real-life altmer, who is not tall, and on muscles lol
Once you take roids even if you drop them later you still can't call yourself natural because you broke that natural barbier of natural athlete in terms of how much muscle mass you can gain
