We LOVE wind caves! Especially the ones in Sedona, AZ. Sedona is full of all these super amazing caves if you know where to look. One of our favorite caves is the one on Robbers Roost Trail, also known as the Hide Out Cave Trail. Robbers Roost Trail is a short hike (if you have 4WDs) that will take you to one of the most beautiful caves in Sedona.

I love your videos! I am working from home around America and started watching your videos in Vegas. I love the Boynton Subway Cave, Robbers Roost and Sedona Caves hikes that you share in your videos. I think you would also love: - Wilson Mountain Peak Trail (a lot more difficult in the snow, but gorgeous; I found this to be much easier and even more beautiful than Bear Mountain) - Bear Mountain - Doe Mountain I also really liked the Baldwin Trail and Sugarloaf Loop Trail, which are really easy yet gorgeous.

I did it in a uhaul pickup truck with no problem...we saw a prius at the trail head if that tell you how easy the road to the trailhead is.

This may be a weird question, but I have an overactive bladder, and I'm very concerned about not having restroom access. Are there areas off the trail where it is acceptable to 'go'.

There is no question too weird! This spot is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure that you can find options. Just be sure to check to make sure there aren't any cacti or things that can ruin your fun! 😂

Hi, the hike itself is super short, 30 mins - 1 hour. But the drive is what takes forever.

Incorrect name. It is Shaman’s Cave. Robbers Roost is the name of the peak, in which that cave is situated

@@LiveThatAdventure Thanks for the memory lane tour. Sure thing. I’ve been fortune to produce international events in Sedona since 2014(lived since 2013, visiting since 2001). OnXOffRoad has the trail marked properly, too. The Cave is the tourist attraction usually, besides the people camping for free on the BLM land (was one meself too)

After some research this is what i found :). Robber’s Roost is also known as Shaman’s Cave, though there is no evidence to suggest the cliff dwelling was ever used for ceremonial purposes. The reference to Shamanism came from the New Age community in Sedona, who wanted to promote this location as a spiritual destination.
