Can we talk about how Caroline used Max as a human shield and then had the audacity to have an attitude with Max and tell her to move on? She literally put Max’s life on the line just to protect herself even after Max took her in.
The only reason for hiding a gun in a jacket pocket is if you're trying to rob a single person, when there's other people around and you don't want to draw attention. In the situation shown, the gun is always drawn.
This episode makes me proud because you can be a person who wasn't born in the us but understands that 2a is there to allow yourself to protect your and other no matter your background (even if you did time in pirson because if you did the time then you paid for your crime )as long you are willing to risk to protect ppl that you care and the innocent then you should have the right to carry a gun

Han and Oleg deserve All the props, Max and Earl were cool and composed, and Caroline was just the worst. Best friend as Human shield plus peeing so much the 2 men that tried to save them had to slip in it or clean it. Ugh. Go Han that was awesome!!!!
I've always hated Caroline, she's so selfish and materialistic. She has no redeemable traits, she kept pushing Max out of her comfort zone and doing things she didn't want to do. Didn't like how everyone was making fun of her pissing herself though since I might've done the same.

you can tell that that caroline pushing max in front of the gun was supposed to be a throwaway joke by maxes reaction and the pause for laughter and that it wasn't mentioned again but it's just so genuinely messed up it's hard to just take as a joke, i mean in the reality of their world, caroline just pushed max in front of a gun and was willing to sacrifice her.
General rule of thumb for armed robbery, if the robber is covering it with his pocket when he points it, odds are he doesn't have actually have a gun in there. Most robbers just brandish the weapon in the open if they actually have one.
Weirdly no. For the most part. Yes. However, there's actually a way to get in less trouble if you don't actually have a gun, but you just infer that you have one because California was cracking down on gun crime and you can get more time if you are robbing with an actual gun. However, if you are inferring that you have one, it means you don't necessarily have one. So it's possible that there is a gun but by covering it if they get caught they get less jail
@@redith137 Your whole point is predicated on the logic that the punishment would be determined on initial impression of whether you might have a gun or not. Any sane cop on the planet is gonna search you to see if you actually have a gun on you when they arrest you. The fact that you were hiding it won't change you actually being caught with a gun, so the sentence in court would be the exact same.
