Part of me feels Miguel is more natural in embracing the offensive tactics of Cobra Kai than the defensive tactics of Miyagi Do I know in current time he’s balanced and all But Cobra Kai offense is his biggest strength

Yeah 💯 Miguel’s primary style is Eagle fang/Cobra Kai and Robby’s is Miyagi-do. It’s probably done on purpose because Miguel was Johnny first student and Robby was Daniel’s.

@@WillKirkbright-uk8ie On the positive side... if he didn't show mercy in the school fight Miguel never would have known the difference between Honor & Mercy... He might have been fully corrupted. But now he is a better man of all. But on the negative side that spine injury is somewhat downgraded his full potential.

lol they were both terrible fighters back then! The actors have come a long way. What they can do now is really impressive, especially Tanner, his athleticism is very impressive, Xolo is great too. But it’s very nostalgic to rewatch their first fight, it’s were it all began. The show is not over yet and I’m already missing them. 😢❤

this fight proved that Robby is the more balanced and talented fighter, he really stood out despite first time competing, he was able to do the most powerful kick in Miyagi-Do Karate. Sure Miguel won the trophy but he didn't do anything special in here. just threw some punches and kicks. Robby has the real underdog spirit, truly a karate kid.

If you judged by just this clip, you would think Miguel is the clear cut villain and Robbie is the clesr cut good guy. I know people have their preferences but it's hard to not like both.
