Yes, it's true, we finally got Robby's tow truck in the shop and started working on it. Lots of teardown and getting the frame ready to start some tube work, and just to have some fun we added scared face But progress has begun. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

Even an 8” stretch would make a helluva lot of difference even though it wouldn’t look so far out of place. But you’re right it needs more room in the cab to make it accessible and comfortable, was watching Paul from Fab Rat’s who collaborated with Robby on the Golden Nugget project build a rollback with the cab of his mom and dad’s old pickup truck and he had to modify things for comfort as well.

You should never take your job to serious, because they will get rid of you quickly and have your replace their before you clock out. Have fun while you working. These old trucks LOOK so cool, but once you see how TINY it is inside the cab, it pretty much kills it for me (as far as anything you plan on using more than occasionally). It make me really appreciate the massive amount of space inside the cab of my 4-door 2005 F350 Super Duty Fummins. And for off-road, you really want some space around your head so you aren't slamming it into the side of the cab, the back of the cab, the roof, etc. My hat's off to y'all for taking on this project!

I think you need to let Robby fabricate a 6 to 12 inch extension to the back of the cab before getting too far with this project. You could be working on the frame while he does it. As far as the multiple boxes goes its kind of like a crumple zone in a car. It can get a little squished without harming the contents when in multiple boxes.
