I took my 2.5yr old GSD to Schutzhund for the first time after seeing this clip.I knew this was what I wanted to do and knew my dog was highly intelligent enough to pick it up. I found a club, watched everyone do their training,it came my turn and I met the trainer for the first time,I did not like him but I was nice.He told me to bring my dog on the field and act like a post.My dog responded immediately to him waving things around and stunned me and the other dog owners.This went on for 5 weeks.Now I find out he was not the trainer but a Learner trainer and the proper one was o/s. I finally got to bring my dog for the proper trainer to see and she was barking,jumping,wanting to get the sleeve.He said she should not have been in the field at all and should have done obedience first which is a long process and it builds up to the field. When I looked at the L trainer,he smirked and looked away.Now i've been told it will take 6 weeks minimum to get the over excited reaction out of her when I turn up.I travel 2 hours there,2 hours back and he sees her for 10 minutes. .So,we're off to a bad start but know with a lot of hard work we will accomplish....There are no other clubs that do this so no I can't leave. I would rather beat the L trainer,not with my fists,(even though i'm a female I would love to) but eventually winning with my dog.

Oh God I got goosebumps, tears, laugh ,extreme love while watching this beautiful connection between this beautiful dog and his owner or trainer. I've watched Goofy in teaching and training dogs before but I had no idea she's trained like this, God they way he keeps eyes contact with his trainer is just pure joy and love ❤❤❤❤❤❤

This is one of my favotite video , it puts me back in time when i was on the field as a decoy , you Robert are amazing, i love how to imply Dutch in your training , we use to only train dogs in German as well. That was SOOOOO cool. LOVED this. So entertaining. Thanks for sharing. I plan to review all Robert Cabral's video's when I get my new Belgium Teravue puppy (down the road). I agree in consistency...would love to learn how to get my dog to heal like Goofy did ..both sides, inbetween, in/our of legs walking..that was my favorite part. I loved backing up on command. And the hardest thing I have struggled with is staying/waiting...(on command)..even in a dead run..to stop and wait on command. SO cool. You are awesome. and although I hate the name (sorry) LOVE Goofy..so beautiful.

watching your videos has taught me to teach my dog so much . thanks its kind of becoming additive to play and teach with my dog . he is a seven month old Australian Kelpie cross Australian Red Cattle Dog aka Red Heeler your style of training and understanding for dog suits the Australian working dog too . and we throw in a bit of Cesar Malan phycology and methods too thanks to both of you our dog is a very happy active and balanced boy . he is going to be an awesome adult dog
