I am very stoked for no supports, geez.. 2+ hours of ONLY Machine Head, amazing. Usually I just would come at the end of the show only for the headliner or even when I would come for the entire show, I was always exhausted after 3 or 4 supports, so this way is really great. I spit in my face for not seeing their "Evening with" in Warsaw 2 years ago (especially that then they toured Bloodstone and Diamonds, which I consider to be their best album, but Catharsis sounds equally promising), when I forgot about MH a little, but when they come here next year (as said in the video), I'm buying the ticket as fast as possible
Piss me off so much every journalist asking about support bands. Last time I saw Machine Head in Finland they played near 3h show with all bangers. MH has some great songs that last over 10min. and supporters want those songs in the set list. I enjoyed so much that show and hope they will continue that way.
Thanks for the video. Good answers on Robbs part. There's some stuff I didn't like though. 1. When you do those kind of interviews your english should be better, work on that massive accent. It was hard to understand the songtitles you mentioned. 2. When you select your questions make sure it doesn't come across like you didn't dig into the band that much, but just read some tabloid headlines. 3. The "An evening with"-shows are among the best things that ever came along for a MH-fan. It's weird you critisize that. 4. It's Robb Flynn.
You really think that Beyond and Kaleidoscope are phenomenal? We all know that Machine Head can do waaaay better then this. He’s right with supports. No one likes supports. It’s just wasting time in my opinion, every time when I saw them live before An Evening.... I was bored standing there and watching some shitty bands. Saw MH twice on An Evening and it was amazing!
