The first stop of The Outlaw Festival was Alpharetta, GA. Robert Plant & Alison Krauss sang Led Zeppelin’s “The Battle of Evermore” on Friday, 6/21/24.
I’m 15 so of course I never got to see Zeppelin. I was here yesterday and was the greatest day of my life. It was bucket list for me, same for seeing Bob
Hello Simon, I’m 69 years old and the first time I saw Zeppelin was when I was 17 at Madison Square Garden in NYC. I’ve always loved Zeppelin but more so Robert Plant. He is ever evolving. I’m so happy you enjoyed the show. Hope you’ll go back to the early days of Zeppelin and listen through to today. Follow Robert Plants journey, you’ll enjoy it and learn so much.
@@letitbe777 that’s awesome that you saw them at MSG!! I’ve been listening to Zeppelin and Robert’s music to the point where I’ve proven lifelong Led Zeppelin wrong! I’ve always looked up to Robert, and his journey really is amazing
@@simongaskill, Simon, if you haven’t checked out the Battle of Evermore, Led Zeppelin, please do so, with the lyrics. . carry on oh young one with a deep soul ! You will love what you discover!
@@letitbe777 that’s one of my favorite acoustics by them! The mandolin playing especially is amazing. The lyrics have a lot of similarities to Tolkiens work. When that song started at the festival, I probably went 5 feet in the air 🤣
I was blown away by this tune last night in VA Beach, it was that good it made me all teary eyed and made me shake, very powerful song and an amazing performance
Can’t fucking believe I got to see this. Transported pure bliss. Truly blessed thank you so much for uploading!! Wife and I will treasure this memory forever.
Wow... I have always loved the voices of these two. And I had tickets to the last show Led Zepellin scheduled to the US but that tour never happened of course because of Jon Bonhams passing.... thank you for capturing this for us. Just magical....:)🌱
Thanks Tim! You had a good vantage point there. I was back in the lawn filming but appreciate your great shot here. Sounds so good too. Love these two. I’ll be seeing them again in Flagstaff in August.
