Robert's Croc Profiles - Acco | Australia Zoo Life 

It's really good to see Robert keeping a respectful distance from Acco, he's much less experienced than his Dad was and acts according to his own limits. That's a truly professional attitude and very impressive for someone his age. Pushing the limit is only ok when you've put the years in to know *exactly* where it is. Such a great human.

That was so immpressive. Acco is enormous. Robert, you are so much like your Dad. I loved watching his television specials. I will never forget him.

Gotta love our boy Acco 💚🐊. I remember seeing that old footage of your dad feeding Acco in the Croc Diaries series on animal planet. It's so cool to see you feeding the same legendary crocodile.

Robert's doing so well, and he looks SO MUCH like his father. It's amazing. Wherever Steve is, I know he's the proudest dad, and now grandpa, there ever was. His children are doing so much for wildlife conservation and education, just as he did. Rest in peace, Steve. Your mission lives on.

He is UNBELIEVABLE!! I remember Steve feeding Acco and it made me breathe in.... but it wouldn't come back out!! I just held my breath without knowing it until my brother said, " Shorty!! Are you ok? Breathe!!" I've been a fan of the Irwin family for over 2 decades. I miss Steve every time I watch videos from Australian Zoo

Acco is my favorite croc in the zoo cause he's the biggest one they got :) an he's built like a tank.

I was a young bloke 5 to 10 years old when Steve's fame was on the up and up and I appreciated him but I realise now I only got to witness a slither of his greatness, now I'm an Adult I love bingeing his old videos to remember what a beautiful man he was, even after all these years he enters conversation's...truly the best thing for Australian wildlife and the ecosystem as a whole! This family deserves to be remembered forever for their conservation efforts for all these years🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Big Old Acco he is a legend. I use to watch the old documentary of the day Crocodile Hunter nabbed him. Sui and Crocodile Hunter were in the boat Acco was in the water and Crocodile Hunter had that camera. Crocodile Hunter had a rope in the water and Acco started to tow the boat. Sui panicked, jumped out, swam to shore, and Crocodile Hunter was left in the boat with Acco trying to reel him in. The boat was rocking, Acco was putting up a fight and it ended with Acco sinking the boat and Crocodile Hunter catching him. Today Acco has his own enclosure and he gets a daily helping of boar to fill that big belly of his. Acco's favorite food is boar he can eat a whole pig with one gulp thats how powerful Acco is. When Connie died back in the early 2000s Acco was lonely so Cassie moved in with him and they are a great couple.

Wasn’t or isn’t Acco the croc that Steve caught all by himself??? I remember hearing Terri talk about a “monster” Croc that Steve had caught all by himself but just wasn’t sure if it was the one she was talking about.

About their coloration, Chandler had some of his crocs put in different colored tubs to see if it changes the crocs color and guess What?? Their environment does have a strong affect on their coloration. The lighter colored enclosures cause those crocs to get lighter and the same outcome for darker ones. He's got gators and crocs so I'm not sure who did what and when but it was very interesting

The reason I like acco is his tail slaps as a warning that Acco is armed and deadly. Acco maybe enough to give Agro a run for his money. He’s bigger and he’s just strong enough and clever to use his tail as a defensive and intimidation display

I was a fan of the Crocodile hunter show. His son remindes me of his dad. His mannerisms and the way he talks and the way his interactions with the "CROC'S"

Crocs are so awesome...it was my first visit to Australia Zoo in 2002 that made me realise this

He is a Legend within your zoo and he's gorgeous. Crocodiles are within my top 10 all-time favorite animal list. Though, I noticed that he doesn't have that many teeth. When Crocodiles get older, does that mean that they don't regrow their teeth anymore?? Just curious :). Can't wait to see more!

It puts a smile on my face that Charlie and acco are still alive because the last time I saw them Steve was giving them food of the pigs(I think),. It's amazing to see Robert is following his father footsteps

I am currently reading Terri's book, Steve and Me, (AMAZING book that I would HIGHLY recommend if you love the Irwin family) apparently A LOT of people had tried to hunt Acco down and kill him over the years and this mighty King of the River had eluded them all...he was known as a black ghost of the river....until finally Steve was asked to take care of him. His Dad, Bob, left Steve alone to search for this crocodile, just Steve and his dog Chilli, until finally, they found the king of the river and they had to get some people from a cane farm to help bring him in because he was so big and powerful. Steve brought him home and gave him a beautiful new habitat and a gorgeous new girlfriend named Connie and Acco now lives as a king at Australia Zoo....but Steve felt really bad about taking this noble king from his domain, but he was glad he had saved his life and the hunters didn't get him.

Thank God hes not only got Wes but hes got all dads footage of his interactions with especially with Acco who never forgave Steve for the capture. Funny! I just watched the crocodile hunter movie dad and mum were in and I was wondering if that was acco in that film?!?!?

I hope one day to visit the zoo. I worked for 5 years learning about animals to get a job a the local zoo here in NY but a week before they closed 😞. I’ve been trying to find another job without luck. My dream is to work with animals but it’s slipping away 😞
