“Mancini was a brilliant footballer, of course, one of the best I ever had. His technique was fantasy" (Sven Goran Eriksson about Roberto Mancini) Music: EMF - Unbelievable (instrumental)
Look at the coaches in the final one a steady Eddie centre half .The other ,one of European football's great no 10s .The industrial revolution v the Renaissance!
Played on regular basis as 16een years old in serie A, lead Sampdoria and Lazio to win Scudetto, a huge amount of Italy Cup, 2 European cup won as a player, than he moved on, start to work as trainer, and achived 3 serie A, 1 premier league, several national cups (England, Italy, Turkey), he move over again, takes the role as italian coach and lead them to win Euro 2020 at his first shot as C.T. Such a football man... "CHOSEN"
Fantastic player, hard to believe Italy never won a trophy during late 80s and the 90s, attacking options were amazing, midfield was amazing and had the best defence around
The reason is Arrigo Sacchi. He didn't like players with big egos like Baggio or Mancini, so he rather selected players from Milan and a few from other clubs
We lost at the pensalties in the semifinals of 1990,lost to brasil in final at the petalties in 1994, we lost to France (who later won the world cup) in 1998, we lost because of referee Moreno in 2002, than we won in 2006, so we just needed more luck
What he has done for the Italian side is truly breath taking, it shows the determination in his game as a player and as manager the azzuri have never looked so dangerous
A goal every 3-4 games from Midfield in over 400 games (15 years) for Sampdoria - incredible. I'm so happy he won the Euros. FULLY DESERVED. Man City should never have sacked him. Guardiola was brought in by both Bayern Munich and Man City to win the Champions League - after 8 years...nothing. Klopp did it 4 years (Liverpool), Jupp Heynckes did it 3 years (Bayern), Mancini won an FA Cup and first league title in 44 years and was just getting into his coaching roove at the club.
I had no idea he was this good as a player. He makes the opportunity and scores where other, more praised players would have squandered the chances. Many of them are pure 'Worldy.' I carry even more respect for him now.
Mancano i gol contro Ancona e Atalanta, stupendi, da tifoso dell Udinese quando ha smesso ero felice, perché ogni volta che veniva a Udine segnava, grande Mancio
Finally, a goals compilation without the usual trash electronic music. Thank god good football taste and good musical taste can co-exist in some youtube authors!
@@chrisbennett6260 it’s a classic early 90s Brit rock riff loop. It’s fitting to the video. And much better than the dance floor shit of the other football goal compilation videos. What did you want as soundtrack? Radiohead? 😂
@ I was just thinking how well put together this video is, particularly how the footage coordinates with the music. No easy job, I'm guessing. Excellent work. Well done. You can be very proud.
Wots that in italian money...30 quid? Oh sorry they do the Euro now... Hang on 300mil in Italian is 300 thousand Euros. Surely he would've been worth more...
This is pure class guys. Where can you find this kind of touch, elegant moves today? More muscles yes, now they run faster, maybe, but where is this class? Today you see players keeping the ball for minutes, forward and back, from side to side and again, but how many players touch the ball like that? And then, fantasy. You look at these goals and no one is like the one before. They played free guys, they had fantasy. They didn't have the coach telling theme where to put the throw in. That was soccer guys. See you
Italy had 5 great playmakers at their disposal in the era 1990's - Roberto Mancini,Giuseppe Giannini,Roberto Baggio,Gianfranco Zola and Alessandro Del Piero.
My first football idol. The guy was not a classic 10, but an all around attacking player who could organize as well to create and finish. It is a shame that managers never found a way to make him and Baggio coexist
Very good! I liked the video so much that i repented it several times, both for the goals of "Mancio" and for the soundtrack. Do you want to do a video of Del Piero too?
No, the heel one against Parma (Buffon as a goalkeeper), between the head of the Defender and the cross bar it s impossible even to think. For me (i saw in real time, It was unbelievable.
92 European Cup Final vs Barcelona he had a terrible Game, he never saw the ball..he was Invisible..plus Vialli missed 3 good chances.then the German referee SCREWED them in Extra Time...Grande SAMP!!!!!
