i am trying hard to score that gucci....its very hard to find now :( glad to own the rest, great list :) got my essence as soon as i saw your first impressions ;) may be bentley for men absolute as a replacement for your favorite gucci ph1...i love that scent :)
Just tried the JPG Essence at my local Lord & Taylor. I haven’t seen it anywhere other than there, and they just recently got it in. That bottle is AMAZING!! The juice inside is also just as good. Really liked it.
Marc, since we know you love Guerlain, you absolutely must try Guerlain Homme Intense...it's hard to find in my case, but it's one of the best spring scents (and night summer or early fall)
great list as always... I have to try that ideal edp.. I own the cologne version and really enjoy it.. really nice scent for the very hot days.. good performance too.. get this like clean iced lemon linen smell.. Your lineup is my favorite.. Royal night another underrated scent.. not sure why.. its the one with an edge and with depth.. also the performance is much better.. this is one of my favorite scents. this list was killer. Love le male essence de parfum.. Probably my favorite one besides the original.
L'homme Ideal EDT is some great stuff. No cherry. Super thick, lasts 12 hours for me or more. A touch of rosemary, definitely tonka, some citrus, but it's really all about the almond. I only tried the EDP at a duty free shop after smelling 50 other frags, so can't really say if the EDT is better. But, I love it. Skip the cologne, it's meh.
Seriously I really miss your Top 25, in my opinion, don't go by numbers of view since you don't care to be sponsored or not, do what you want to do my friend, it's your channel. Thanks for sharing
Marc you are the shit! I love what you did with this list. YES!!!! have: JPG essence de parfum Encre noir (sport) Gucci intense oud versace oud noir (just a decant) D&G royal night DHI (im selling my 150ml bottle brand new because i enjoy my DHP just a bit more) Mugler pure malt (just a decant) the rest are good too but didnt really wow me. but seeing this many scents in common with you is blowing my mind
I am about finished with my 100ml of L'Homme Ideal edt. Just received a 150ml this past week. Great year round scent. I live in Alaska so we don't have extreme heat. Solid compliments from female co-workers. Don't wear this for going out. Mostly a work scent
Great video! Love your picks on the list haha.. Btw, maybe it's a lil bit out of context, but what do you think about El born by Carner Barcelona? Is it worth purchase? Please lemme know.. Good job Marc!
A great list Mark, no doubt. Although I have to say that I enjoy the opening of Essence de Parfum a lot more than that dry, cardamom-heavy drydown. I dunno, maybe it's my skin, but I'll take Oud Noir over it anyday. Everything else is a huge thumbs up.
Baer17 it is nice. At first sniff I detested it.... much too "sterile". However in time, I've come to appreciate and enjoy the quality and performance of the leather.
Isnt Guerlain a Niche house ? They started off as a fragrance house at the beginning . Because they started selling cosmetics later on i still look at it as a niche . Lots of niche house starting to releasing bodybcrams . Aqua di parma have body creams now
From my experience Guerlain is more accessible, because it's offered in many places and for the common ones the price is fair. So putting it in the designer list makes sense IMO. Creed is similar, but consistently more expensive.
thank you for still using time stamps!!! a lot reviewers have stopped using them i have no idea why but it's so annoying..like y'all get your view as long as we click, i don't have time to hear every word y'all say!! just want to see the list lol...altho i respect your nose brotha
it's because youtube took the you out of it. theyre only pushing these big brand celebrity type channels now. views are wayyyyy down for almost every youtuber and it's killing their income. youtube counts watch time now too, not just views so it's important that people watch the whole thing instead of jumping around. it's partially why you've seen channels producing longer videos as well. youtube is screwing the people that made their platform go big....
that's fair...however this might sound harsh but if you're trying to make revenue off of youtube from reviewing frags you're probably wasting your time lol. I would be in this more for the passion than the money. But yes you make a fair point, good to know. I didn't know all that
i'm having trouble with versace scents. aside from eros which is great, the rest have this really cheap smell to them. i guess they're priced cheaply too but they truly don't smell very good. dylan blue is like a 2/5. it's not a bad smell but it's not really good either. versace pour homme is basically a watered down dylan blue. 2/3 of my versaces disappointed a lot so i'm hesitant to try the oud one. i like ouds but versace? ii dunnnno it's a really big gamble in my mind
