Robin no longer looked healthy in 2008, but he was still beautiful. His beauty came from within, and the outside didn't matter. Eternal miss our Songbird.
I feel the same. Even though he wasn't diagnosed until 2010 it's clear to me that Robins health had taken a real dive.😓 And you're right that so much of Robins beauty was from the inside. Although he was extraordinarily gorgeous at times thru-out the many stages and phases of his long career!😉 (Rest in peace, sweet Robin.......🙏)
Maurice's death truly drove him into the grave. Look at him in 2005/06 (2/3 years after Maurice died) and he looks healthy and actually looked great for a 55/56 year old but then only 2 years later by 2008 he had aged quite a bit and no longer looked healthy and from 2008 to his death he'd just continue to look badder and badder. He was still fantastic but was never the same after Mo's death. Very very sad :( hope he's resting well and is having lots of fun with Mo.
I love listening to Robin. He is so intelligent and interesting. He was very handsome and sexy. When he sang, he was phenomenal. Rest In Peace, Rob. You are truly loved and missed. ❤️🌹❤️

I have recently spent better than 12 hours in front of my desktop computer watching various recordings of the Bee Gees, they are all such a likeable group of guys, and I've heard nothing bad about any of them.
I watch them each night as I go to sleep. It is such a joy to study their personalities, their voices, and their incredible sense of humor. I am blown away daily by these fabulous talents.❤❤❤

Missed Robin! What a nice voice n handsome one... Sadly, of the illness he has. We really cannot question God, why... God has his answer only when it’s our time. He has his own plans.. If Robin is still around today and he & Barry would be still singing together as the Bee Gees. But he won't used that name because Maurice is gone. In my opinion, he should continue that legacy name as the Bee Gees. Anyway, that was a nice interviewed of him. He was generous to the children's caused.

I really haven't watched these since they came out. So tired of Robin feeling the need to continuously recite whom they wrote for. He just mentioned it twice. And no Robin, you did not write Emotion(s) for Destiny Child. They weren't even born. I see why Baz would cringe when Robin started on this rant.
Barry was the brains of this group and what a group of talent & voices. I too sit down and listen on utube to their concerts. What a time in history. Glad to still be a fan of them.
@@kl3620Robin (& often Mo) only co-wrote half the songs they wrote for others, but he would go on & on as if he wrote, produced & sang duets and/or backing vocals on every single one.🙄
You could tell in this interview that he wasn’t well. He lost so much weight from his face. So, so sad this awful disease has taken so many wonderful people.
I've watched this interview before, Robin really took the commemoration of Bomber Command to heart & they did get a statue. Living Eyes, I was wondering if the programme of 50 greatest hits from the 60's is anywhere on the internet, it would be so lovely to see it. I think it was so sad that Robin & Barry didn't get along with each other, so sad that when Maurice died the Bee Gee's died as the man in the middle wasn't there to glue the cracks together. I heard Maurice say that he didn't feel good enough which led him to drinking. Poor Maurice.

Let's see, 2008, Rob was still twisting in the wind waiting for Baz. He was supposed to drop 50SCD in 08/09. So sad. Robin did a fantastic job with his charities. The Bomber Command Memorial is beautiful. He fought hard to right this injustice and took some slack, but Rob would tactfully explain why he felt so strongly. I remember many of these interviews streamed from Radio 2/4, in London. Thanks LE. You always have great videos.

Oh Robin, you were such a good looking man right into the '90s! That bloody macrobiotic diet didn't do much for you, did it? A few pounds more would've made all the difference. As they did in the early to middle '70s.
Robin was never the same once Mo passed away. I truly believe it not only affected Robins mind and heart, but also his physical health. Even before 2010, when Robin had the same intestinal issues that took his twin out, and even before Robin was diagnosed with cancer, you can see thru videos the decline in Robins over-all health. Once his twin died, well Robin was pretty much "Running-On-Empty." So Very Sad.
He slurries his words a little and he can hardly lift his top lip. and doesn't have the livelyness in his voice from these years on. He seemed to be doped up with meds to cope with whatever was making him so ill. This wasnt just diet related. Dwena was heavy by then so couldn't be the diet. I hope if Dwena is writing a book then she's kind about him. Could bear to hear horrible things about him 😔
Yes, the macrobiotic diet causes damage to health and is not recommended by doctors, certainly in addition to mental stress, Robin had a nutritional deficiency which ended up worsening his health status, this is a pity.
