yeah i can see why theres barely any Robin combo guides at all, he/she is so complex thats not all the pros can master him/her thats why he/she is in low tier due of his/her complexity

Steve Morris I believe thoron covers every get up option if timed correctly, so if you read when they try to get up from ledge, there’s nothing they can do.

@@wizaro2487 Thoron is more effective at higher percents. It deals less damage than arch thunder, but has higher knock back. So ya at high percent thoron could be used that way. Thoron is still one of Robins best tools for closing out a stock. Its range is huge and its hard to avoid.

@Cameron Rose that's utter by scrap what you are spitting. Zelda is a very hard character to play. She is easy to understand. But if you struggle against her. That means that you aren't quite used to fighting her. People dont know how to approach her, but she is tough to play against good opponents. Good opponents don't allow zelda to set up their phantoms, know when to punish a up b and respect the up b. That's when zelda needs to perform a misplaced phantom. Ive been practicing that shit for weeks, but still can't pull it of consistently. If you miss aireals with zelda, you get punished. If you put out phantom late, you get punished. If you constantly use neutral b, you get punished. It's really not that easy to get the hang of zelda. Did you even play her against high level opponents

Mines just about the same but is Joker and Byleth instead of Zelda and Byleth

I think he b reversed side b then predicted the trajectory and up aired

He predicted the DI from arc fire after launch and ran ahead of time to kill with up air. To be honest it seemed like a wild guess and he got it right.

Do you happen to know what % robin spikes with bronze sword?

Robin's arc fire is his most dangerous tool

What about down b into fair or nair?

Fast fall down air has true combos to 80% but the higher % ones get pretty tight.

Its not about that though. Its showing things you can do, these apply to everyone.

Arcfire can occasionally keep a bit of your forward momentum if you use it while running. Try to take a step back if you're missing your second shot too often, it's likely you're using arc1 while dashing and then using the second after the dash ended. If that doesnt work for you, try to get a handle on tossing out down smashes and archthunders while your opponent is trapped on ledge. One has a lingering hitbox, making it good for reads or reactions, the other is often slow and large enough to hit even opponents using anything but drops from the ledge if they're dodging the first arcfire.
