Excellent video, man! I wonder if a heat treated tool-steel shaft would keep those bad boys from breaking. I'm always interested in how to make the models we have available to us BETTER. Because the manufacturers aren't making a bunch of non-race vehicles like they did. So... if we can improve the reliability of what IS readily available... that's a good thing! Draco does some great things for HPI. There are others, too... I just pulled the top one on the list in my brain. I mean... I don't want to spend a grand to polish a turd... but 1994 reliability can certainly be improved upon, I think. Thank you for this!
Nice work on the make shift lathe for the shaft‼️ You are right, it is fun to mod stuff and it’s always good experience for a potential future projects - Just a wanted to mention, you can get a set of snap-ring pliers to help with the clip you had trouble with. Yeah I'm just a cheap a$$ instead of buying the snap pliers I ordered 17mm hexes for the revo. I should just order the proper tool but honestly I'm 35 and this is the 2nd time I've ever needed them. Thanks for watching 👀 you video was awesome today I love the 3.0 what a great engine
