Yes

Building skills, yes can probably transfer over towards other games. However, Elite Engineering is crazy different when it comes to the mechanics of the game like its logic parts, you'll have to learn how to make your things work using logic so I'd say they are too different.

Even so, I still suggest you try out the game, its really fun

I use a turret handler, mouse 3d position, and global to relative to aim
