Fun Fact: The RoboCop suit was so hot and heavy that Peter Weller was losing 3 lbs a day from water loss. Eventually, an air conditioner was installed in the suit.
Robocop is definitely one of of the most nightmare stories I can think of. What can be more horrifying then you die and they still make you go to work anyways! 😱😱😱😱😱
So glad that the Robocop reboot actor has distanced himself from the flick. He deserves suckseess, Altered Carbon, Suicide Squad and For all Mankind has proven it.
Lol south Park comes from Colorado . And Matt and Trey created it. With a pilot episode including Santa clause and Jesus lol funny show. Best show ever
Yeah, the 3rd movie was REALLY bad. Even Peter Weller knew enough not to go anywhere near that movie, no matter how good the payday would've been. The 2nd movie was meh, but Weller made it watchable. It's probably what the first movie would have been like if Paul Verhoeven didn't direct it.
THE OLD MAN: "Nice shooton' son, what's your name?" ROBOCOP: "Murphy." The most satisfying end to such an incredible movie. I always cheer loudly at that last line. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Played cyberpunk Recently, and the Gigs and missions, not to mention cities (some run down) is sort of like Detroit, theres lots of unspeakable crimes going on, I rocked a Revolver to feel like Robocop, Watched the 80s one not long ago, just got me in the mood, It Rocks
the 80s Robcop was amazing, the remake was terrible , i love Robocop Robocop 2 , i have the comic series as well still, robocop 3 was terrible the tv show was interesting . it was filmed in Toronto Ontario Canada
@@damianprock1650 I really liked the remake also, I know it didn't do well but I think it was like the first X-man movie that also didn't do well but the sequels were a lot better. I think the studio should have given them the opportunity to do a second one and work out the kinks. I think it would have been better then the first but that's just me.
Robofact: Only his vital organs remain. That face you see under his helmet is artificial. They retained his image so that the host would better adhere to there cybernetic body. Gives the host a sense of person, and lowers the chance of them going crazy from seeing only a cyborg exoskeleton.
Robocop 1987 it's sequel/reboot franchise of the legacy of robocop returns and beyond with rouge city in 2023 for the ps5 xbox series and others platforms I would love to see a movie returns in titled robocop returns for a new era in the future of a resurrected franchise legacy do Peter weller proud of 1987 classical continuing to series and ed numermer and Michael Milner a story about ocp Corporation wars in the robo franchise of the future...👍❤❤❤👍🤟
Oh boy, to lose your flesh, to lose your fortune and most importantly your family and friends... Then made into a property of a corrupt company where you get shot at then working day and night without pay. One of the worst nightmares a man can have.
The only Robocop anyone should watch is The Criterion Collection with all the footage that originally gave it an NC-17 rating. The difference in the amount and length of wanton and gratuitous violence makes you more engaged, and want to see those criminals hunted down one by one that much more.
4:02 Error #1: Dick Jones didn’t “team up” with Boddicker. Boddicker and his crew were working with Dick Jones even before the beginning of the movie. 4:20 Error #2: Emil never refers to him as “Murphy”. He never even knew the name of the cop they murdered at the steel mill.
There was another show not mentioned (besides prime directive) that was based on an alternate reality to the original. Robocop:the series. Ran for only one season in 1994, it had a unique style to the franchise. In my opinion I liked it and spawned a good toy line back in the day.
I remember having quite a few of those toys, they were pretty good. Though I've only seen a few episodes of the series when it was new. It was a little strange how they seemed to only get half of the material, I assumed it was perhaps cheaper to just license parts of the story, though as a kid it was weird with the differently named people, Madigan, Sgt Parks etc. Though thinking about it now, if it is set after 3 then that would explain Madigan not being Lewis.
@@16BitJayGaming that show retcons everything after Robocop 1 and changes some facts from that movie as well. Madigan is there from the beginning instead of Lewis, as well as sgt Parks. Other than Robocop and his son, all characters are alternate versions with different names.
Dick Jones couldnt do anything because he didnt have access. As a executive he could only ordered the directive into every product but it was ultimately Morton who gave it to Robocop or better said his tech team.
Animation has come a long ways since even RoboCop alpha command. I would like to see an animated series that is absolutely true to the original RoboCop movie. Meaning do the animated series like you would for an older age group teen adult little kids watch something else.
I hopeeeeeeeee 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 🙏 robocop Returns gets made with Peter weller and Nancy Allen with Paul Verhoeven as a special producer. As well as the dick Jones prequel tv series 💪 💪 💪
Not much for the reboot but I never know a sci-fi movie from the 80’s actually was a look into OUR ACTUAL FUTURE. Huge original Robo Cop fan. I’m 40 and it’s the only “collectible toy” I kinda collect. ED-209 Rocks.
I went to see the 2014 reboot when it came out showed up 10 minutes late even though I've gotta admit I wasn't out impressed with the film when you it didn't have a tension but I think a lot of there just can't keep up with the original And frankly they probably should never have bothered to do one anyway.
I love the original. I saw the remake a few times and can't understand why people hate it so much. Shame it couldn't keep going. Soon we'll see the og robo again, which really doesn't make sense for more modern times.
In, I think it was the second movie, they showed how they had tried to make other Robocops, but they basically went mad and killed themselves, because they just couldn't handle it. Absolutely could see that happening.
in the novel of the second film if i remember correctly it stated that murphys sense of duty and his deep cathlic beliefs ( no suicide) are what kept murphy sane. he was the son of a cop and was going to be a cop if thats all that was left for him.
I was ten when Robocop 3 came out, we went to the movies to see it, and I remember even at the age of ten, just thinking the movie was totally designed for kids. The damn robot ninjas just sucked lol
Why is the new one so hated. The remake robocop would wipe assets with the original robocop but I wouldn't mind of both teamed up as a multiverse type story.
I have to disagree with the part where Bob Morton programs the 4th directive because it's not true, for it was Dick Jones who programmed the 4th Directive into Alex Murphy/RoboCop not Bob Morton, and I know that Dick did it because I've seen the movie myself and he even explained to Alex Murphy/RoboCop about the effects the 4th Directive has on him.
sorry but the actor who played the best RoboCop was Peter Weller, remake of Robocop really sucked a bomb in his driveway and they really didn't do good on special effects the new actor Joel Kinnaman I don't think he did Justice to the role they should have done was having to be RoboCop 2 an original actor for the RoboCop movies should have played the senior RoboCop to help him be a better RoboCop that would of been better than better
The reboot was terrible, but then again most reboots are. The original was better, its lighting in a bottle sort of franchise. They eill never ever in a trillion years be able to recapture it.
After all the inaccuracies in this video, he'd probably say that the Terminator is John Connor's real father🤣 Or even fluffing famous lines like: "Come with me if you DON'T want to live" "Asta la vista, BOBBY" Or even try and tell us that the travesty that was "Dark Fate" actually had the exact plot of "The Sarah Connor Chronicles"🤣 This guy makes videos on subjects he knows NOTHING about, therefore making huge mistakes, and preaching it like an expert in order to cash in on it. Giving him suggestions, really only equates to enabling and fueling him to produce more cash incentive driven videos filled with profound inaccuracies. Please stop enabling him🤣
