i think this is due to shaders compiling in background ,, as after 15 mins of gameplay all hitching stopped , an second play though of demo it ran like butter , thats on i9 an 3090

I heard that there was some stuttering in the beta that got reported. What sold the game for me is that the developers actually sent out a patch to fix the stuttering in the beta. So I am sure any hitching will be fixed. It was a limited beta too. Most developers would just say "Screw it"

Same here, i don't preorder but i did for this game and can't wait to play it on november 2nd.

It's still stupid and pointless. Preordering doesn't give them more money than buying the game after release. Also, most if not all of the money goes to the publisher, which is the downright criminal Nacon in this case, formerly known as Big Ben Interactive. So you're not really supporting a small studio.

Preordering is more or less always dumb. No scarcity and why part with money beforehand?

I did it because i respect they put their game out there to be judged by a demo, a practice i wish was the norm and it takes confidence in their product to do that because too many release a game on promise and find out it ain;t anything like they said it would. If there was no demo, i would not preorder. Also because right now was the onl;y time i can put money into a game, if i waited till release i wouldn;t be able to do it.

Good for you! For the fact of how rare Robocop games are, for how much I loved the movie as a kid in the 80s, and for how exceptional the demo is, it’s quite apparent that this is a game and dev team worth supporting! There has been some frame rate hitching reported, which will most likely be polished up by release or soon after. Devs who are bringing back such a kick-ass 80’s icon with passion, verve, some heart, and even a little bit of a sense of humor, definitely have my respect. How great was it in the demo when Robo opened that second line at the station?! First a bad guy hilariously turns himself in accidentally, then you deal with a few citizen’s problems before getting to the last in line, which ends that scene/finishes that section with a rather heartfelt moment!

I agree, but apparently someone is hoarding the sound effects library (it's something that happens, I guess), so they didn't have access to it. They got it close, but it's not perfect. I miss the flames shooting out of the sides, personally.

People said the same thing about the lasers in terminator resistance…but later in the game it was movie accurate. So it might be the same with the pistol. Engineering or some other upgrade may improve the sounds and muzzle flash of the auto 9

I got into them a few years ago because of Mortal Kombat 11, they were great!

Bugs shouldn't be an issue. Developers were pushing updates even when the game was in beta. Community complained about stuttering issues so Teyon fixed them It is also AA. Back when every company was AA, games releasing with bugs was unheard of

Best part about AA developers is that they can release the product they want to release without having to worry about artificial deadlines put on by big studios who haven't even touched the gaming industry

@@christinaedwards5084 😄🤞🏻🤞🏻The fact the demo was only available & playable on PC and not on consoles, makes me not optimistic the game will be great on consoles. I’m actually supporting the Devs on this regardless of the result we get on consoles because I really appreciate the team putting in a lot effort (probably with a small budget for AA games) to make this game as true to the storyline as possible and it’s been a long time since we had a RoboCop game.

Terminator resistance was so good. I liked it enough to get the platinum trophy lol. I wish this were coming to PS4, I don't want to buy a PS5 for one game lol.

Takes place after the 2nd game so I'd say no.

I find in ALL games the starting weapon is always the best as it’s pinpoint accurate, good rate of fire, and low recoil and plenty of ammo I got the dead space one for the plasma cutter first playthrough 😂 10mm pistol got me through fallout Magnum and BR got me through all the halos

It's not open world but some areas are more open than others. Npcs can give you side quests etc. Maybe similar to Re4 remake
