Watching two Robocops fight is like watching a fight in an mmorpg where two players keep making the same attack.

guess they didn't realize that "dead or alive, you're coming with me" was Murphy's catchphrase even before he became RoboCop - it's not something every copy of RoboCop would say.

I thoroughly recommend this series, it's hilarious and if you let yourself play along there are a few scene that are actually touching.

The sound is like two iron buckets fighting, I don't know how they managed to screw up this Robocop so badly.

Peter Weller was best. This is an insult to the franchise.

i agree with everyone on this but i actually liked the cable cop he wasnt bad its just by this time in 2001 weller didnt do robocop 3 and didnt want to see another robocop without him, but the actor for the cable cop was perfect if you continue to watch later in the mini series the cable cop gets better and better to the point john cable is the only good thing about this.

Prime Directives was interesting. It's been a while. The first two felt like they could fit into the original series, the third one meh. Fourth... was just rough.

This was Filmed at the Skywalk in Toronto, use to walk through here all the time on the way to a Blue Jays game. I had a Family Member that filmed this Robocop series. Also the New Robocop 2014 movie was filmed in Toronto.

They should have united these two robots to fight crime and not put them against them because murphy is already tired and discontinued, on the other hand, john cable was improved and stronger, more his speed and without primary directives

Man. No actor post Peter Weller was able to portray this Robocop well at all. They all look idiotic.

One thing this seriously lacked was reloading. Also the guns aren't doing any damage to the playing so it is hard to imagine their being any meaningful concussive damage either. Also....these are some seriously low riding cop cars.

At least its better than the 2014 robocop that's just my opinion

You can find it cheap on dvd its Robocop: Prime Directives 4 episode mini series. Its alright but Murphy being so clunky and out of date at this point becomes irritating as do some of these fights which just seem to go no where as both as using the same weapons with no chance of injuring the other.

2 Robocops fighting is like watching 2 trash cans bash together.

I saw this on Starz or maybe encore. This was one of the worst things I have witnessed. Strong Concept of RoboCop vs RoboCop. Badly directed in Action staging and chase sequencing. It reminds of how slow and silly RoboCop is.

Prime Directives was better than Robocop 3 atleast.

Признаться в 2022 году сериал старый. Я лишь однажды видел дааавно по телевизору. Я знал, что ДВА РОБОКОПА. 1 классический, а другой тёмный. Год не помню, когда показывали, но думаю не позже 2010-го. Да, сначала была вражда. И кто-то ещё по моему стоял за этим. КАКОЕ НАЗВАНИЕ СЕРИАЛА? Помнится - это сериал, это не фильмы про Робокопа, что были в детстве. Даже сообщалось, что серебристый - это другой актёр. Но было прикольно увидеть с двойником. Всегда нравились идеи двойников - близнецов в разных фильмах и сериалах. ОТВЛЕТВЛЕНИЕ -> Люблю классный сериал - Рыцарь дорог 80-х гг. Машина робот... Но при погоне я как раз подумал, что та супер-машина просто бы перепрыгнула препятствие. Сцена была очень похожей. Такие моменты довольно классические в американских фильмах.

I hate how raggedy and unmaintained this Murphy is, I know this was low budget but Murph is so short, so old, and sloppy in this it almost hurts to see him. Whats all this twitching when he gets shot with what's essentially a pair of his own guns on his own armour, he didn't even look like that when Hitchcock shot him up in part one with a swat team. I get Robocable's new and improved and for all intents and purposes he looks brilliant, I just don't buy they'd let Murphy get that friggin dilapidated, even his face has aged where I kinda bought the Robocop 3 theory that his human face had been tore up so they stuck a new fake one on. Anyway top effort to the team involved, but I remember seeing this around as a kid in the store begging my Grandma to buy it, getting denied, until she finally caved in one day, getting home and being pretty underwhelmed. As someone else has said though, there are some touching bits, the melancholy bit of the score is nice too (I hate the heroic Mexican horns in this) and some decent lil concepts in there if you allow yourself to just suspend your standards. I liked seeing Murphy as a human cop in his flashbacks, although it's not the Murphy you expect based on the OG version, I dunno, mixed feelings about this project, but hey, it's Robo so you're a fan going to give it a shot.

I sat down and watched the Prime Directives movies... hated them. The action scenes and stories were boring. The movies also had no soul and they were as bland as the TV series. I once read that these movies were only made so that the production company that had the rights to Robocop could retain ownership of those rights as they were set to expire.
