Roborock S7 Maxv Brush on Carpet Comparison 

I have one area in my house with low pile carpet. I have owned several high end vacuums, always to be frustrated with how hard it is to pick up our dogs hair on a low pile carpet. The carpet I am talking about is also dark colored, and every drop of my yellow labs hair shows on it... I have used the robovac s7maxv ultra now for about 1 month... Its the ONLY vaccume that I have ever owned that leaves no trace of my dogs hair on the pesty low pile dark carpet! I only wish that I would have bought it sooner... From my experience constantly trying to find a vacuum that I like, on low pile carpets it's alot better to use lower suction power then max suction power. I know it sounds backwards, but I swear, there is logic behind lower suction on low pile carpets.. Sort of the same concept when it comes to vacuuming hard floor surfaces.. I find that "balanced" works best on my low pile carpet area.. Great video! Ty.

A Roborock with dual roller capability (one Rubber and One with bristle) would be nice to have. Roborock is already able to detect Carpets when mopping to deactivate the mop. It could do the same thing in activating one of the dual main rollers to start depending on the floor type. 4:39 I wonder how it will perform with repeat mode. Roborock S7 Max V app can be set to vacuum the area up to 3 times.

I guess on hardfloors the bristle would loose up sticky sand?

I did this to mine because of you thank you! Used the q5 brush and it works amazing! But the hair is tangling, what would be the fix for this? My dogs hair isn’t that long maybe a tad longer then your dog.

Seems like the Q5 was only released in the USA. But I was at the online store of the roborock US and could not find the bristle brush for Q5 among many accessories available. Where did you find it?

Links have been updated. Making the custom brush is no longer worth it as prices have increased significantly. Buy the Q5 brush and use that its best option works great for S7 Maxv, been using it as main brush over a year.

Is there any way you can do this test for long hair please? I've got no pets but an finding the s7 max performance terrible for long human hair on carpet, hoping the Q5 brush is better :(

Hello good afternoon. Did the brush on the q5 fit the s7 correctly? Did you have to make any changes to the brush? I'm thinking of buying one to use on my carpet. I have a q7 max and I think the brush will do too.

Would your ‘stiff’ bristle custom brush scratch sealed hardwood you think?

Is the brush too snug to roll when it’s running? Can you make a video of the brush running smoothly? I heard if it’s too snug specifically when the motor strains to run, will cause a burn out.

I will gladly pay you to make me one of your custom brushes. I am recommending that you start a side job making them for people like me who can't even draw a stick man, let alone make my own brush.. 😂.. Honestly though, please make me one. Would gladly pay for supplies, shipping and your time.
