David, I got my chuck and the 13/16 hole I drilled with the spade bit was a perfect fit for. I don't know if the bit had sloppy tolerances or maybe it wobbled a little when drilling. Chuck fit true on the end of the handle so I know it drilled a straight hole. I was looking for this video to post this and realized I had failed to subscribe. I have corrected that.
Thanks. I just ordered one. Brent sent me pdf with the hole size and I roughed out a handle using a 13/16 spade bit I got at home depot. I suspect the collets are made to metric specs and that is the next best fit. I will use sandpaper as you suggest if the fit is too tight.
