Roc show. To love and die on Emerson Street. 

ROC was an important show on many levels for the black community and worldwide. Not just the show it self was good and had a message. But it helped a lot of musical artists and up and comers like Tone Loc and Heavy D and En Vogue transition into acting, and get some steady work. The show provided for a lot of people behind the camera too and on the FOX Network of all channels lol. We all know the story of Charles Dutton who made something of himself while in prison to build a career in acting,. And when they went Live! they really showed they had the skills because going live is like a music artist performing live. There's nowhere to hide when you make a mistake. You've got to improvise like Tone Loc did when Roc asked him where we was tonight. ROC and ER went live and I respect those shows so much for doing that, but unlike ER, ROC did not get enough support and we let it die before its time.

I remember this season was live when it aired. I’m almost positive tone loc forgot his line about where he was for a second. But the pause actually made it funnier.
