I got mine earlier this week. Best liner for downsizing into a roces 5th element hands down. The word fabric on the inside I have trouble describing too. The way it helps though is the fabric is direction specific. Like petting a dog or cat, how there is a right and wrong way direction to pet them. It does that, so your heel goes in smooth the the direction of the fabric works too keep your heel in place with the ankle shape and lace system around the ankle. Amazing liner. I'm super impressed with it.

Oh wow. Dont though of it that way. But it makes total sense. I do feel easy to stick my foot inside and when taking it out feels “like sand paper” ;)

Hi Ricardo like the channel! My question is are the Roces RL1 liners bigger than the standard Roces liner? I have a uk14 foot and standard Roces liners are a tad tight. Really enjoyed this video and all the information. 👍

I like my CJ FroYos but I had to modify the liner's tongue for the skate laces to go through em in order to keep the tongue from scrunching out between the laces of my FR1 shells. Funny that I was thinking about that tri lacing system hurting the back of my foot and you mentioned it. I do enjoy the height of these CJ liners, especially if you wanna use em on high cuff blades.

@@RicardoLino Well let's see how that first pair holds up. Moisture retention is probably the reason the intuition develop a smell, bacteria build up inside that foam from sweat. I've had good luck in the past with any liner with a CoolMax lining on the inside, feet would be dry and liners wouldn't develop a smell unless the person had dirty socks and feet 🤣 Wish it was standard but I know that adds additional cost to the product.

Great review as always. I'm somewhere between a M & L. I'm thinking about getting the M. Does anyone think/know if the liner would stretch in the toe a bit ?

This comes without shock absorber most likely because it is intended to use in raised heel skates like M12 and 5th Element. Also, most of the shock absorber equipped skates nowadays have some means of keeping them in place.

Very nice review. Almost a love letter to these liners. Are these your new favorite liners from now on? Would you say the RL1 liners knock Intuitions off their throne? So no stench, that's good. How about squeaky sounds? And do your Intuitions still squeak after 2 years (or when did they stop squeaking)?

Super review, thank you Ricardo! The laces can't be much worse than the ones from the Intuition ;P Did you heat mold your RL's? (Sounds like you didn't need to) Does sound like a dream-liner, where you need no break-in time and fits the Beat and the MT Plus and no stink (and not "squeeky" like Intuition's?) Just needs to be delivered to me now... The last tracking entry is from the 20th and still says it's in Lisboa... I'll be patiently waiting for the Ricardo "dream" Liner 1 (damn why is it not here yet!!!)

Perhaps replacing the rope lace in the liner with a flat lace can help with the heel pressure in the back

I throw my liners in the dryer with a bunch of dryer sheets with fruity aromas, and they come out smelling great and feel super warm lol but if they really stink maybe baking soda, baking soda always kills shoe odor

I love it.. not with he stock laces. But with long waxes laces, it integrates very good with most boots ;) easy tom put on and take off

@@RicardoLino Ah I thought maybe it had lace locking or something. After a couple of years on the same pair of intuitions I may just be sold on the basis of "doesn't stink". Mine are pretty horrendous!! Need to be kept in a room people don't go in! Thanks again!

fine review, didn't understand the bottom line if they worth double the price of reign or myfit 2nd skin. in which skates they worked better, say m12s vs razors sl. worth to save few dollars more and just buy intuitions? etc

I'm having a lot of problems with these Roces RL1 liners, After the First session the tri-hold lacing system of the Left liner snapped, and the neoprene of the Right liner tongue completely ripped... Probably i have bought a defected pair, but i'm disappointed since they are almost as expensive as intuitions, and i've never had problems with my intuitions V2, neither with my intuitions × Them.

Typical great review.! I only have one small critique of the review; at the beginning when you were talking about the manufacturers, it's a little inaccurate/dishonest to say that MyFit and Reign only make liners since they are just liner brands from Powerslide/USD and Sunshine/Razors, respectively. Intuition is the only legit liner-only company mentioned.
