In this episode, I finish up the Air Horn of our 1971 Buick Stage 1 455 Rochester Quadrajet. I fill air bleeds used in a Buick 350 application and modify the Primary Air Bleeds to function just like our damaged original Stage 1 Air Horn.
Back in the day (late 80's) I took mine to Brad Urban's carb shop in Anaheim, Calif. and he did all this to my engine specs. Ran the dickens outa it for many years with no issues. Hope yours goes as good for you, great mods!
I like to know more about the air bleeds and what is benefit of restricting the two inner air bleeds and why open the other to 80th? I thought the bigger the jet the smaller the air bleed in that location? Thank you for info. Whets are very cool carb. Learning as much as I can
Good info on the quadrajet ---I only thing I would used blue locktite instead of the red , you will pay the devil to remove a small screw with the red . All in all a good video , keep them coming . thank you
Will you make it to the Buick Nats Bowling Green this May? Hope to see you there. A friend and me are thrashing on his Buick powered Regal hoping to get there
