This is just awesome. Rock in peace Ronnie ! 3 days after I turned 12 I never forgot that day ? I loved Ronnie James Dio ? And a lot of rock and metal bands. Thanks to my mother and father. (Rock in peace dad 1954-2020 would be the same age as Adrian this coming August 8th). Love this still.
@@FleetAdmiral215 John won’t come out anymore so it doesn’t matter. He did some tour with Blue Murder and later on Thin Lizzy and that was that. Nothing since. Nada. Zilch. Adrian is still out playing and he’s damn good.
This is excellent! Thanks so much for sharing this!! Everyone on stage was in Whitesnake at one time or another. Adrian Vandenberg - guitar (1987-1990, 1994, 1997) Rudy Sarzo - Bass (1987-1990, 1994) Michael Devin, here on vocals, played bass from 2010 to 2021 Brian Tichy - drums (2010 - 2013, including the excellent “Forevermore” album) Doug Aldrich - guitar (2003-2014, including all the albums written and recorded during those years, notably “Good to Be Bad” and “Forevermore”).
Imagine running into these guys at a small park festival. Amazing!!!! I went to a small parking lot festival for a bar in Rockford Illinois to see Quiet Riot and I was shocked to see Dubrow, Cavasso, Banali and Last but not least Rudy Sarzo! I couldn’t believe it. I was expecting to see maybe two guys with a couple replacement dudes. That was awesome as well 👍🏼🥁🎸
This is the first time I've seen Adrian Vandenberg and Rudy Sarzo together onstage since the first Whitesnake concert that I went to back in 1988..Bad ass by the way..🤘🎶🎵🎤🎸👍😁
This video made my day, thanks for uploading it❤. They are all unbelievably good musicians and living legends😊. Doug is maybe the best guitar player nowadays (ok, Steve Vai, too😊)❤
@@swankmotee no one is riding on Sykes coattails where this song is concerned. It was on Saints & Sinners. Sykes had nothing to do with it except for his cover version. Personally, I'll take the S&S version with Bernie Marsden and the Beast over the '87 version every time.
@@guillermo3564 Yeah they are totally ripping off Sykes' tone and approach from the 87' album or anything he did with Coverdale which in the end is a backhanded compliment since he created that sound of the 'new' Whitesnake .

I'm curious too. Musicians at their level though, they've all played the song a bunch of times separately...wouldn't surprise me if the "rehearsal" was a quick discussion about the songs and they just watch each other for the changes during the songs. fkn great performance;
There were many. There were only 2 Whitesnake songs. I have videos of Holy Diver and Hevean & Hell on my channel. There were many others including Rainbow in the Dark, Die Young,and Follow the Tears by different performers. You can find some of them on other channels.
@@StevenSeed00 thanks ;) I saw Whitesnake before they cancelled the tour and it was not a joy sadly. Coverdale and Dio along with Plant and maybe Hughes are/were the best rock vocalist ever… But Ronnie is my favourite.
@@PicsnLicks I was planning to see Whitesnake when they came to LA but of course they canceled. I'm also a big fan of Dino Jelusick so I was looking forward to it, but after watching some of the videos from the European tour I'm glad I didn't see them. Coverdale was great for many years, but he doesn't have the voice anymore to tour, and that's OK.
@@StevenSeed00 I was so glad though to see Europe & Foreigner…. For me they stole the show. I’ve some of that show up on my own channel. Tbh I’m really behind in posting my videos… hopefully I can get everything up.
I've seen several videos of Adrian from this month and he's playing this song but he does not play the solo. Is there a specific reason why he does not play the solo?
There are videos on RU-vid showing Adrian playing the solo in the 80s. Really bad. He played them in neo-classical style that just didn't fit the song. Shame, as he proved he can play the blues on Restless Heart and in Manic Eden.
Wow! So no mention of one "MR. Vivian Campbell"??!! Was a huge part of White snake during the bands lineup of basically,an all star lineup featuring: DC. Rudy. Adrian. Vivian. Tommy Aldridge. Ect.. ! Was very unfortunate that Campbell and DC didn't really see eye to eye, plus Campbells wife apparently had some personal issues too with DC. But I was fortunate to see that lineup in Cincinnati, and they fkn ROCKED!!
