Steve was the reason Guns n Roses became famous at all. Without that kickass drumming Guns n Roses would have ended up like Poison. Well done Steve and you deserve all the royalties for the songs you created. You are the best member of Guns n Roses in my opinion. Even better than Slash or Axl and its great to see you happy and healthy again.
I love you ,you,remind me of my baby brother,, he didn't survive the drugs and alcohol. he played the guitar he died at age 46 I,m glad you survived. Stay sober, keep playing, your great,GOD BLESS YOU you are an inspiration for all of us

It was Adler's drumming that made those songs bounce. He really had a feel and a sense of groove that not all rock drummers have but they all strive for .
Next to Rick "Thunder God" Allen of Def Leppard, Steven Adler is another beautiful example of fierce determination and strength. I am so happy that he is still around . PEACE AND BLESSINGS,STEVEN!!!!!
How can you not love Steven??.. He's so in his fellings and just want to be loved.. I wish the guys in Guns will give him the chance to show them he's sober and clean and will stay that way and make new music and bring back Izzy now that they are all grown up..

I grew up listening to gnr and fantasizing that I was in the band Steven is a very inspirational person ( as a person not a celebrity ) to me. I wish you all the luck in the world Steven God bless you.

They weren't going to complete any songs, records, or anything. He wasn't showing up to write, record, or play. And when he did show up, he was so high, drunk, etc. that he couldn't play
+TSC FirstKill, well, as far as I know, in order to get off from heroin, he was prescribed to some kinda opiate or something at that time and, besides, had a flu - that's why he was unable to play properly. He ain't saint, of course. All I wanna say, that he was not the only one in the band messed up with drugs in these years. Slash, Izzy and Duff were all fucked up as well. It's simply unfair to blame only Steven! He's not a scapegoat!
Steven is a cool genuine guy...and that is gift he has..hes a warm person...on the drums he was fine in my eyes...he just partyed to much...not every one can just stop when others can ..took me 20 odd years too get off the train my self .glad he is doing good

his drumming style is phenomenal. the snare flam to cymbals n kick on night train and out to get me are truly unique. As a drummer I have 2 major influences - Adler and Grohl. 14:58 is so sad the band should have helped their brother out.
For me he was the best drummer from Guns N Roses.. Matt was his shadow and after Matt put a little bit of his personality in the records. But the Essence was all from Steven. Great!
Unbelievable the guy - after all the shit he's been thru - drugs, strokes, coma - does not look a day over 30 - yet he must've been pushing 50 when he did this interview.
Love Steven Adler. Hie and John Frusciante kinda remind me of eachother a bit. They have the same naive and gentle softness in their character - plus they both nearly died via drug addiction. If they ever formed a group I'd go see em - no sweat. Rx
He has been down a rocky road. But still here. Brothers in music. Stay clean my brother I now there are lots of drugs and girls back stage. I know first hand. It is very hard to not mess with any of them. The drugs and the girls. But all leads to same place. Ha. Missing the bus pulling out !!! But yeah I’m so proud of Steven. You came out on the other. +biblical giants I KNOW, RIGHT?!! People are always bashing the guy but they fail to remember or consider the fact that he was like a 17 or 18 year old kid! Only 20-21 when the band exploded onto the global stage. Nobody that age is really capable of handling that kind of setback well at that young age. He is really a terrific guy. And no matter how may drummers Axl burns through, he will never again have one as good as Steven. He IS G 'n' R when it comes to drummers...even Slash had to admit in his autobiography that Steven did help write many of the hits on Appetite For Destruction and Lies...
I grew up watching G n R get bigger and bigger along with Metallica Anthrax Slayer Pantera going to gigs when possible , it was the best time of my life. Is it still the same now for the young music lovers or is it different ?
