Thanks for all the love. For me, this was an honor. A privilege. Working with such an amazing family. Less about the music, more about what it represents. All immensely talented kids, each one developing serious skills. Musically, interpersonally, communicative. A massive testament to the Parents of the century, Reisy and Yitzy. As most know, I have have a foot in the Mental Health world. Parents can learn from the Ross’s how to raise a beautiful, happy, functional family in an era and environment that begs the opposite. I am humbled. And yes, the music was fun too……
Thanks, Avremi! Our parents are awesome, but let's give credit where it's due. You spent so long making sure we were each comfortable with our parts and made so many changes just to keep us happy. You also are an amazing conductor. Counting in Huda at 1:06, Counting in Miriam and Dovid. Thanks for being such a huge part of our family! - Mordy
Wowwwwwww soooo great...Everyone plays just stunning....the guitarist sounds like Avi Singolda!! Maybe you will cover the song Yerushalayim of the Miami boys choir... that's will be great 😃
Rabbi Ross did it again!!! This is officially my favorite of all the videos. OMG, little guys are so cute. Look how much everyone has grown. The trumpeter was a cute little kid, now he’s a giant. And that tenor player…. He can wail away!!! Nachas!!!
So amazing, I love it! I'd love to hear these MBD songs in your next set: Od yeshvu (the sax intro is perfect for your boys), Someday, Just one Shabbos, Daaga Minayin, Torah Hakedosha and Usid!
MBD tracks, lkeil asher shavas (hold on), im ein ani li (let my ppl go), tov lehodos (Jerusalem not for sale), yiboneh hamikdash (Jerusalem not for sale), adon olam (mbd and friends), rashis nigun (Moshiach), dagah minayin (double album)
It’s time for some girl power! The acoustic guitar player is fantastic, and as a guitar player I enjoyed watching her hold her own with so many brothers. The little girl is adorable with her shakers and singing along. In case you missed it, check her out at 7:08 and 7:52. She’s so Heartzig! She’s singing her heart out even though it’s not in the mic. You guys are all truly a rocking Mishpacha! Keep playing and brining Simcha Simcha Simcha to an increasingly Simchaless world!
Well done! 👏 I would love to hear your rendition of Havel Havalim - Tzaakah album (composed by MBD) I think it's very up your alley, a great song that hasn't received the attention it deserves! (Bonus points if Yeedle sings the MBD Melody;))
Great idea about Yeedle! We kind of got it into our heads to have Eli Marcus sing all our sets since he's so awesome, but if we don't go that route, Yeedle's a great choice!
@@RockMishpacha I suggested Yeedle since you had Marcus who's part of the Friedman family... I will reutter why Havel Havalim, on the album it's in two genres, rock and rege, I think you guys can have a lot of fun with this song.
This is by far the best Avraham Fried set I’ve heard in many years. Great song choices, simple arrangement, and fantastic singer! I must have watched this 50 times over the past few days. You guys are terrific! Please keep putting our videos!
Mazal Tov Yehuda!! Awesome video as usual! Loved Avi's cool guitar moves that I can't even describe, Baruch's awesome rhythm, and how flute, sax, and trumpet were all amazingly in sync, Bass was ok too ;-). Dovid and Miriam were obviously the breakout stars, can't wait for the next video! Starting a petition for me to join for the next set😆
There are so many amazing things about this video, but it’s girl power time. The acoustic guitar player is phenomenal, and as a guitar player, I loved her strumming. It must be tough to have six older brothers, but she holds her own. And that smile…I’m melting! The younger girl, I think the youngest? Watch her at 7:08 and 7:54. She’s singing along with such heart. She’s asking for Moshiach. I’m in love with both of these princesses. You’re all incredible!! I’m jealous of the connection you have, and the fact that you thanked your mother first, shows that you have your priorities straight. @rockmishpacha, keep playing and bringing music to the world!!!
MBD song choices that are personal favorite Tzeakah Es Hachai Many Happy days Daddy Dear Zemiros Lulie Moshiach Unity Ich hub g'vart Bluzz Di Shofar Shema Yisroel Just one shabbos
Thanks for these song choices. We're actually hoping to work with Yeedle - keeping it in the family. We already did Just One Shabbos in our Friday night set, otherwise it would be our first choice. We are glad you enjoyed this set. P.S. We agree that Levy Falkowitz is an amazing singer.
Glad you enjoyed it! We love watching your guitar covers… absolutely incredible stuff. We listen on good speakers and it’s like we’re sitting with you!
As a fellow musician I'm speechless. There are so many amazing parts to this production. Eli Marcus? Your voice reminds me of Avraham Fried's years ago. Avremi G I've never met you, but this speaks louder than words. I get chills listening. To this talented family, thank you for this. I love every single part of it. I hope that you continue to produce these masterpieces; they're the best.
Initially I’ll admit I was skeptical that this was real. After watching some of the videos floating around of the actual performance, I’m sold. You guys not only sound fantastic, but your attitude is incredible. My kids have watched on repeat, and I guess I’m paying for music lessons now. חזק ואמץ!!
Amazing set. My heart bursts with pride every time I watch this video, which is at least once or twice a day. Nachas X nine! (plus Abba). A big shout out to Mommy who nurtured each of you and your unique talents.
Amazing video! For the MBD set(and yea it’s a long list!😂 Do a 30 min video😃😄) Def need Ana Melech Moshiach Kulom Ahuvim Hinei Mah Tov Chevron? Daagah Minayin Oid Yaishvu Ani Maamin Unity Just One Shabbos Someday Invei Hagefen Lonely People Bo Yavo Not For Sale Yizkirem Kol Neshama Torah HaKedosha (Def more I’m forgetting 🤔)
Thanks so much for that! To be fair, we had this arrangement for almost a year. Most bands get their arrangements that night and have to play live. We’re not at that level. The arrangement was custom made to match up to our playing abilities. Avremi is a genius. We’re glad you enjoyed!
The first song we played was an instrumental of the high part of Aleh Katan by Avraham Fried. The first son that Eli sang was Hofachto by Avraham Fried.
Meh. I’m not so impressed. Horns were harsh, keys were cute but a bit of beat. Drums were boring and guitar was too loud. I’ve heard better from kids. It’s cute that they’re siblings, but let’s not lose our minds.
@@Bulvan123 It's any music. In Hebrew, Rock (or Rak) means "only" and Mishpacha means family. Therefore, the band is technically called, "only family." In English, it can be thought of as a Rocking family. That being said, we're coming out with some very cool music - a lot of which is real rock music! We're sure you'll enjoy those sets - they've got some songs that you know really well.
Not everyone might be impressed and that's ok. However I am impressed, and frankly I have been involved in professional music for many years and play 5 instruments. Sure there are a handful of kids who are super talented, but it shouldn't take away the from any kid who has a talent and works hard in learning his/her instrument. If you give criticism make it positive criticism and everyone will benefit including the critics!
MBD songs? Better have Daaga Minayin and maybe an instrumental of Od Yashvu. You guys were incredible, I had to go watch the earlier videos. Eli sings so nicely. The drummer and trumpet were the best IMHO. @avilessinger
