This MBD favorites set was played by Rock Mishpacha in memory of Yaakov Reich A"H. It's time to thank a few people. Let's do a "Top Ten" list.
1) First of all, we would like to thank Hashem for giving us the ability to play music.
2) We'd like to thank our parents for all that they do for us.
3) Avremi G. is the best. He puts so much work into each arrangement, and we love working with him. If you don't have his wedding/kumzitz or other books, you might want to get them by visiting anotableidea.com . Avremi - Thank you so much!
4) Ian Freitor does the mastering and sound for all of our music. He works with each of us, and we love recording with him! Ian - Thank you!
5) John Tendy along with Thatjazzshow has outdone himself once again. There is so much work that goes into these videos, and he has an eye for design. John - Thank you!
6) Shana Reich helped with the timing and setup, and we're so grateful. Even though Yaakov isn't physically here, you keep him alive in our hearts. We should only share in Simchos together!
7) Emily and Julian. Thank you for being a part of this video. Your father was such a special person, and we're sure that he's watching this in Gan Eden and rocking along.
8) The Young Israel of Lawrence Cedarhurst is more than just a Shul... it's a huge part of our community. Thank you for letting us use the ballroom to record this video.
9) Our music teachers. Thank you all for your hard work. We hope you enjoy teaching us as much as we enjoy learning from you! Gal Gershovsky, Nachman Dryer, Ben Holmes, John Tendy, Avremi G, Peter Sparacino, Danny Flam, Scott Kulick, & Richard Grey.
10) Last but certainly not least - our fans. Our goal has always been to play music that people enjoy listening to. Thanks for being a part of our band!
The Band - BZ - Tenor Sax, Baruch - Drums, Avi - Electric Guitar, Mordy - Trumpet, Moshe - Flute, Yehuda - Alto Sax, Sheva - Acoustic Guitar and leads (recorded after as she wasn't on stage), Dovid - Keys and piano, Miriam - Percussion, Dad - Bass.

Bravo! Great job, honoring my wonderful nephew-in-law Yaakov a"h. He is missed every day. His sweet family is his beautiful legacy. Fabulous musical performance by my students (former and present), and their father, my colleague at YOSS!! SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the one and only… Nostalgic Productions. Chaim is helping the entire Jewish music scene, by tracking down video and audio from the good old days, and releasing it for all of us. We worked with him on the song choices, (although he not a big fan of Usid). You should certainly subscribe to his channel, and if you know of anyone that has old video footage, please let him know. Chaim, thank you so much for your awesome work!

You guys are incredible! I'm trying to pick a favorite part, so here goes. Avremi - every project you do, whether it's the A team, Chabad, your song books, and yes, even Rock Mishpacha, is fantastic. So simple yet elegant all while keeping true to the song. Yeedle - Why are you not putting out more albums? You have such a great feel of music, and I had to go and listen to ( מוציא אסירים was a mind-blowing song!) all your albums again. You're in the top three of Jewish singers. Come on; get back to it! We love you! Rock Mishpacha (and parents) - It's not just the cuteness overload or the remarkable playing and singing. It's the song choices. You're bringing me back in time. Keep up the fantastic work. I'm most impressed by Moshe. It's obvious that he's not as interested in the limelight (unlike Yehuda lol), and yet he's still up there rocking away. My two favorite parts are the way every one of the kids is constantly keeping time as they sight read, and the comradery of BZ and Mordechai who are always joking around in every single video. My wife is reading this over my shoulder, and she asked me to write "Yeedle - put out more music!" Keep up the great work everybody!

Holy Moly! This is epic! I rewatched all the videos starting with the debut. You can watch the kids improve with each video. Eli Marcus was great in the Fried mix, and Yeedle is above and beyond. I saw similar comments, but I'm confused why he stopped putting out music. Ever since I saw him (We met in person) at HASC 5, I've been so impressed with his style, not in your face, and at the same time he's vibing with the band and crowd. You can see the excitement in his face, and his choreography is awesome. He doesn't shake his rear like some of the newer singers, but he acts out the song. I'm rambling again. Great job everyone. I knew Yaakov Reich and his loss is felt by everyone. Chazak V'Ematz! Someday, we'll be together. Real soon! Amen!

This is Yehuda - Alto Sax. Yeedle IS amazing. We all loved him, and he’s so chilled and down to earth even thought he’s a superstar. Thanks for watching! Our next set is a DEDI set, followed closely by a new 20 song that, and we’re putting out a really fun set even earlier… but that one’s a secret.

Wow! Just wow! Better and better every year. I wish you would have played Kulam Ahuvim also. Maybe next set? Also, does Yeedle sing at wedding? My cousin is looking for a singer, and she looooved the way he sang. different than MBD and yet so much fun to watch. Thank you for keeping him in the video! On the fried set, Eli was only on the video a few times, but Yeedle had a lot more screen time which was so great. John T did a great job although I wish the hostages would have been on the screen during let my people go. The best part IMHO was when Yeedle shouted "YO!" during the intro for Chevron. I got chills. it was as if he was saying "YO! CHEVRON IS OURS!" Yanky said MBD should sing with Rock Mishpacha a Yeedle set. The songs should be 1 Veata Banim 2 Gehoyben Zman (You guys used it for the Melachos) 3 Melayim 4 Good Shabbos 5 Together 6 Bar Yochai 7 Hu Yigal, and lastly 8 Motzie Assirim Let's do this!

Thanks for watching! You are correct. Sheva decided that she does not want to play on stage, unless it’s a family Simcha. Therefore, she recorded the acoustic guitar and lead tracks in the studio.

I'd love to share some thoughts. To Yaakov's children and wife, may Hashem bring back all those we lost. The way R' Ross talks about Yaakov, I can imagine he was a wonderful person. Avremi G. - you have really proved how amazing you are at arranging and conducting. Ian and John, nice job on the video and audio! Yeedle. I didn't know you still put out music. To be fair, it's challenging to shine when you're surrounded by Rock Mishpacha since they're mind blowingly awesome. However, you did it. Your whole attitude it a breath of fresh air, and the way you interacted with the kids is so special. I'm going to listens to all of your stuff again and become a Yeedle fan again. Rock Mishpacha and parents, you really are a huge part of our house. Eli A'H always loved watching you, and the rest of the kids follow in his beautiful footsteps. The Melachos were amazing. The Fried set was above and beyond. This set outshone everything. Please keep putting out videos and music!

I literally cried when Yeedle sang someday, and the kids sang Ani Maamin. That's what we used to do in camp many years ago. I'm so sorry for the loss of Yaakov. Can you please put the audio out as its own song so I can listen on Spotify? Thank you for continuously putting out the songs we grew up with - the newer music doesn't appeal to me as much. I'm eagerly awaiting the next set.

I just watched this for the millionth time. The more I watch it, the more I love it. The little kids are on cuteness overload. I'm guessing the drummer is the most serious one of all the kids... except maybe the flute player. My husband's favorite part is how much fun the adults are having. The conductor, sound person, video and photos, and Yeedle. They're really having fun. Chazak V'Ematz!

I love how you know music so well. Avremi was in charge of the arrangement. He knows the kids levels, and makes all decisions based on that. The next “Favorite” set will be DEDI IYH. We’re in middle of working with Dedi a”h sons on song choices etc. we’re going to put a different set before then, but not with vocals. Thanks as always for being awesome!

After watching all the Rock Mishpacha videos, I've analyzed the band. BZ sounds superb, and he's always helping his siblings. Baruch is a very consistent drummer and seems very intense when he plays (in a good way). Avi's guitar skills have really grown. He's not cute, he's a rock star. Mordy is always vibing with the song, and I love his and BZ's connection in every set. Moshe is always on the right or in the back. Why are you hiding? The flute has such a calm yet powerful sound. I want more flute solos! Yehuda seems like a bundle of joy - he reminds me of Calvin. Batsheva isn't a little girl and I applaud her decision to record after and not join her siblings on stage. Dovid is so much fun to watch and he's really improving! Miriam I love you! So Geshmak how much you groove with your older siblings. Mom and Dad, thank you for bringing Simcha to so many of us. We love these songs and it sounds and looks amazing! Avremi, your arrangements are always so unique and powerful! Never Stop arranging and conducting! Ian, great job as always. Perfect mix. Yeedle. Yeedle, Yeedle, Yeedle. You stopped putting out music! What's with that? The Jewish music scene needs you! Alright. That's all for today!

Meh. Too much noise, didn't sound clean. Yeedle sounds great (he always does - I don't know why he stopped putting out albums), and I agree it's cute to watch the kids play. Motti Engle did a great job on the video, and I didn't see Tendy on the sax like it said in the description. Song choices weren't great; too political. I'm giving this a 4/10.
@RockMishpacha

Although typically we try to focus on positive comments, I’ll bite. Yeedle IS awesome. Motti is also amazing, but he didn’t do the video. John Tendy didn’t play music. He recorded the video. The songs were chosen since Yaakov A’H loved them. We get better every day, and perhaps you’ll enjoy the next set. Thanks for listening.
