Impressive piece of hardware you have there! I want to add this to a plane Jane Smith and Wesson. I do have a question. If I have an F marked front sight will this mean that I would need to change that too? Any advice is welcome! Thanks for sharing.

Yes, You will need a new front sight to use this A2 upper. Sights that are stamped with an "F" are designed to be used on rifles with the M4 flat rail upper.
