Rock Singer's FIRST TIME Reaction to Kamelot " Phantom Divine". 

The harsh vocals harmonizing in behind the clean lead is very interesting - I am not sure I have heard that before. Makes for a very melodic overall expression with a broad texture from the growls

You should do liar liar with Alyssa and also abandoned, with kamelot 's previous singer, koy khan, aka the voice of God. Very different songs, but equally beautiful.

You should have a look at André Matos going past both of his breaks in a single belt some day... P.s. Most bands will use wireless connections these days. P.p.s. Do Blind Guardin for some really, really catchy songs.

I've just started checking out your reactions and it's been alot of fun. I especially like your Ayreon reactions. Please check out Aurora. She's not metal/rock but there is a ton of metal/rock people, myself included, that are really into Aurora. There is a quality to her sound that is impossible to describe in words. It must be experienced. A good start would be the Nobel Peace Prize concert "Runaway" or "Murdersong 54321" would be a good start or "It happened quiet" especially the "Live at The Current" version. Keep doing what your doing!

I do like Tommy's lows... if the Audio Folks could have dropped the tom/bass drum mics just a tiny, tiny bit, his lows would have reached out to the audience better..... just a small thing. Tommy's pop-up to falsetto for just an instant... you're right, it is sooooo Tommy. For me, the energy sounds like it comes from the guitars, but I think it's actually of the rhythmic romp of the double bass (the same thing I just complained about, lol) ... it creates a sonic wave and the guitars just hop on for the ride. This is my first time hearing Lauren's vocals (thank you VERY much for the introduction) .... my dear, she does make the most heavenly noise. I can't wait to hear more. Hopefully others will give you more suggestions. Clothes? Cats suits and hoodies? You gotta love Metal !! i think of this 'hoodie' as chain mail, as it hangs very straight and does not 'flow' like fabric... maybe it's an illusion to the whole Kamelot theme? Lauren and the cat suit... there is so very little I can say without becoming a 'disgusting male pig' in the eyes of some... so I will just say that the material is well-fitted and it does not appear to encumber her movement on stage....(if you listen closely, you can hear the stern influence of my 3 sisters, standing over my shoulder, eagerly awaiting for me to step out of line....it was a tough life, growing up as the only boy, lol). As always Annastasia, you have made my day. Thank you so much.

You should check out some Kamelot with Roy Khan. Tommy is a great singer, but Roy Khan was a godlike singer in his Kamelot years. Listen to "Elizabeth" (all 3 parts).
