I agree with a lot of the open letter. My main problem is exactly what you said about event walls and paywalls like i really wanted the bren gun carrier but nope. My other problem is me being color blind.I cant see the overheat ring on anything ,some rally points, i cant tell friend plane from too far away to tell plane marker. I think the solution is to be able to change the color of them. A colorblind setting might work but color blindness isnt just three different ones its a spectrum. The new grafics suck .

Hi hello, I was in a call with the person who wrote this letter along with major McDonald's who is a enlisted helper, most of the enlisted helpers have read through the letter, that major did confirm, but for dark flow to respond we need at least 500 ish signatures, although the open letter is already at 300 so we are at a good pace.
That was such an insane decision. They knew the game wasn't ready, and so to protect ratings they made people pay for a F2P game? How did they ever think that was going to work. I agree tho, I think the game is much more ready to launch on steam. It still depends on the account linker portal being about to work though, since that was a big part of the issue as well.
I don't like the idea of trying to balance matches via matchmaking beyond BR. The lack of SBMM keeps the game feeling fun instead of a constant sweat fest. Sometimes you win and sometimes you lose
Canada Day 🇨🇦 mini-rant. I wish there were a few Canadian squads or soldiers. There's a gold order tank, but that's it. The soldiers could SWEAR like the Trailer Park Boys. I want the North Nova Scotia Highlanders for example.
prime example of joining late and not getting a unique squad, Paratroopers its not in the tech tree. Also never knew Keo left, went against him once, he left the match 😂 Armored Train really needs a major rework or removed, even armored trains maps are horrible. I think silver rewards are purposefully made low so it would force players to either grind or pay, this is a free game afterall so they need someway to get revenue. I also think they need better QoL improvements like being able to compare weapons, showing what type of rounds tank use in garage instead of just showing how many shells it can carry. I also think AP mines need a carry limit cause i have had annoying matches where someone spams 9 AP mines, kills his entire squad and then repeat.
Chaditor deserves the bulk of the credit for the letter. Especially the grammatical errors! Also, Euthy not being made the new Community Manager is a travesty. Put that cat to work.
Keofox is a very strange individual and as a Warthunder player years ago, It's always been bizarre how he became hated by Warthunder players for his at times unhinged/tone deaf posts and became loved by Enlisted players for trying his best. Divisive I guess is the term to use.
I do hope they address this bc example from it rockets and grenade launcher they suck shooting through a window bc they just explode the second you shoot it I was trying to take out a tank and my M9 blew up in my face several times till I had too practically hang off the window to shoot the rocket
Events that have new squads shouldn't give you the squad but give you a token that can be used to buy the new squad or get a squad from a previous event that you could have missed out on
Great video. I hope they keep SBMM out of the game. If you’ve ever played COD Cold War you know how bad SBMM can get. Total sweatfest. I like not knowing what I’m going up against, and punishing players for performing well by making them face other good players constantly sucks. The battle rating system is much better even though it isn’t perfect.
Fr, started pllaying enlisted 2 years ago on my ps5 and pretty much fully grinded battle of berlin on axis and soviets, half of normandy allies etc. And now that i have switched to pc i had to re grind everything 🥲🥲🥲
As a fellow game developer, my advice is to give everything a perfect use case with a cost. For example, a plane with many small bombs can hit many players but only kill wounded enemies, while another plane with a single powerful bomb requires accuracy. This avoids a one-size-fits-all approach. A heavy bomber with two high-impact small-radius bombs is great against tanks but vulnerable to flak. Flak, can take out the bomber. A small rocket plane can spray the flak but can't kill tanks which can take it out with small arms fire. Every unit should have a specific use case and weakness, like Rock-Paper-Scissors, and earn great scores for its role. No point being a fighter pilot if there's nothing to kill. Everything should have a counter, and a major way to gain major points. We get in, enjoy getting our points, then the counter tactic takes us out. Don't nerf something super powerful in its primary use. Make it use EPIC. Nerf it's counter defenses so after having your fun, the weakness has it smashed. "Paper Owns Rocks! Damn they just brought out the scissors and smashed me. Fine, Rock time. Smashed! No they are going Paper!"

Do you think there will be a summer sale ? We had them in the past at the same time as warthunder and crossout But we don't have it yet, last year we had a summer sale incorporated in the June update. Have they just given up on it or is it being delayed ?
Ive read it and i agree with alot and find no reason to complain about the rest, the silver is grossly underpaid even i who has been playing for a year before the merge struggle to even get new guns for my squad fully upgraded, more options to tackle grey zone tankers need to be addressed or fully drop the grey zone and allow access to the whole map, there have been way too many free vehicle events that give you sub par tanks or planes compared to the ones you unlock in the research tree and there needs to be more options in community building clans and open mics
I think everyone agrees about silver. Can have epic game and can barely buy a BR 3 rifle after. My bugbear are the map designs. If you join game late it’s just a spawn rape fest. Tanks can sit on ammo points in grey zones and spam HE into your only spawn point. Could solve grey zone issues by having infantry only mode in the cycle. Just now and again, no vehicles.
Keofox now being gone kinda makes me a bit upset. He was very solid. Unfortunately he was the one that was currently looking into an issue that Erika and myself had been trying to get resolved and added in terms of customization and such. Guess I’m back to square one. The customization has had issues since the merge, myself and my 8 constituents in this situation were told we would see the issue fixed/resolved and added. Back to square one and back 7 months. (I hope I’m wrong, I don’t want to sound like a pessimistic person but I’m being quite realistic and reasonable.). Thank you very much for mentioning the payroll/event wall. I have been playing enlisted every day for over a year and a half and I have missed out on so many events because they’ve required points for the event are two grand for the amount of time that I have to be able to spend every day on the game. I've been away at tankfest last week and not been able to play any of this event yet,. so probably missed out on 2 of the squads . I do like an idea where maybe every month or so we can choose an old event and replay it to earn missed rewards. There is some squads from evens before i started playing that would be fun to have.
For 17 pages didn’t seem like there was a lot. All in all I agree most of it nothing that I was mad if anything was surprise like with GREYZONE TANK one of the solution being “Incentivise Tanks on Objective:” tank earning less is a interesting idea. Last thing I really liked the parts about being able to use boosters properly and the returning of old events.
The game should spawn in an AI squad to play the objective when a player spawns in a tank or a plane. Maybe one you can equip yourself. It sucks when nobody is on the objective because everyone is in vehicles.
I agree. They used to do events where you needed only 5,000 points to unlock a stage of the event. There were two to three times as many stages but you could unlock as many as you would like a day if needed and possible. It used to be 10x better. Unfortunately they made this 20k every two days to FORCE us to play. It’s the FOMO (fear of missing out) that causes people to grind these events.
Lack of social system is tough. I don't really have any friends that play or are interested in Enlisted, so ive heen solo queueing for pretty much the whole time ive been playing which kinda sucks bc the game is much better with friends. I've tried to get some of my gamer friends into enlisted but most people that enjoy it would rather play or stick with Warthunder
Honestly its not that good if u want pure xp per matches stuck with the classics heavy mgs mgs smg spams engineering anti tank cannons trapping tanks all that stuff somtimes insane bombing runs too
Im not going to get the German rocket arty and maybe not the soviets because i have overnight camp of course they put the Japanese first least favorite is Japan
I like the game but some things i think are awful like grey zone thanks, Anti air guns that shoot 2 times and it overheats, and some i dont remember how are they called in game, but they are kind of archievments that for example one says kill 100 soldiers in 50 matches, or kill 5000 infantry with artillery attack, for only the reward of 1000 silver, events and stuff i find them nice, but maybe we need a lil bit more of information on the day events, like a mini battle pass that shows you in where is your progress, because there is only a image with numbers and stuff, like, for 20000 points in 2 days event, sometimes i dont know if it is the first day of the reward for those points or tomorrow i will loose my chance to get my reward

For the letter on grey zone tanks, it would be nice to introduce some form of armor degradation where hitting a general area of a tank such the left side of a tiger's turret with a 75mm multiple times would result in penetration to compensate for br 3 players or players who may not be interested in the rocket artillery. APCs can also feel one dimensional and underwhelming to use as they have to park in a relatively open space, have a longer time to spawn infantry and relatively poor mobility all for a bigger/slightly harder to destroy rally point.
Someone ELI5 the silver being a problem. I am an entirely f2p player, im about 100 days in, Most of what I enjoy is already maxed out, and I currently have 80k silver. If you want to max every single item you own, thats a you problem.
