In simple layman's terms, for this media outlet to understand, the ICJ rejected South Africa's request for Israel to halt its military operations in Gaza and withdraw its forces leaving Hamas on its feet and the hostages there. However, the judges ruled that Israel must immediately stop its military offensive and any other action in Rafah which inflicts conditions that bring about destruction in whole or in part to the Palestinian people. As that is precisely what Israel is not doing. They are there to stop Hamas. Perhaps this media outlet needs to bring in some learned reporters, those who actually know what they are talking about.
